The 100cc pipe is advertised as the next r 100. I don't think there is a lot of difference between them. I've got the 100 but I've never measured the 50cc version for comparison

No not yet, but I have the home-made one that I can slap on for a bit until I get something else. It sucks and my scoot will only do 50mph with it, but It'll work until I figure something else out!

Alright, gonna be posting a bunch of updates the next little while, it starts with a $30 gift card to Advance Auto Parts I got for Christmas, figured there's not much I can buy with $30 from their that I need, so I decided to spend it on paint and a small enough ratchet set I can store in my scooter. I am going to start off with painting the engine, I need to drop it from the scooter first, clean it, and then paint it. I'm going to see how a regular house hose works and if I need to I'll pull out the pressure washer at my dads! Pick up some degreaser as well and I have a few brushes and a metal dish scrubber. However, while hangin out in my apartment I decided to pull out the plastic panels I bought from niz76 some time ago because they were in the best condition of the 3 sets I have. Only one small problem, and I would love to find a way to fix it! how could I fix this? The tab is completely broken off and missing since before I bought it, but every other tab is in perfect condition! tomorrow I'll be shopping for primer, and clear coat, as well as some more sand paper! check back for more updates any advice is much appreciated!

Make the missing/broken piece. I did it on a Derbi because the piece was too expensive and super hard to get. Did a fine job of it too. I have to find the pictures on another hard drive, but I have nothing better to do, so I will

There soaking in warm Dawn water now and getting ready to get back in the bathroom and give it one more good scrub down, then put my son to bed and go outside to sand!!

I had a much bigger problem because mine involved a few complex curves. As you can see there is a missing chunk. This was taken after I squared it up, figuring that a square shape would be easier to work with. On the right is a piece that I'd already shaped (for the most part) using a heat gun and a vise so that I could fold it over and have a nice clean line. Another shot of the piece. You can sorta see the the ridge I had to make near the bottom left. I had to do that because there is a small ridge/valley in the main piece I was fixing. Anyway, I shaped it with a heat gun and I believe a screwdriver shank to get the desired shape. Another angle. You can see that I'd started to file the front of the piece down to match the main piece. I made it better after they were attached to each other. Here they are joined. The underside. Before I attached them I scored the bottoms fairly deep with an Xacto blade in a cross hatch pattern so that my plastic cement would adhere better. Unfortunately the last close-up picture, but after a few coats of bondo and a lot of sanding and filing it came out almost perfect. As I've been sitting here doing this, I was thinking that in your case you could probably put something underneath/behind the panels and take a plastic hanger and melt it into your panels. Make a mess of it and shape it with whatever and then re-drill the hole for the mounting screw. Of course it'll look not so good until you you've sanded it all down and painted the panels. I think you can do it though and the challenge is fun.

Thanks a lot for that, I was thinking of using some plastic filler or bond to just form the shape I need but I'll definately just use a piece of plastic and drill the hole. Thanks again bud!
I can't wait to get to painting this thing, it may take me about a week to get it all complete, but hopefully there will be no rain as these will be getting painted and dried outside!

alright, the painting has begun! I went and picked up some more sandpaper today and some primer. This piece is hanging outside from a palm tree with some fishing line with its first coat of primer. not the best way but it was first idea that came to mind!
