The Triton is a larger scoot than the zip. Swapping plastics would be a job. I'm sure bolting it to the front is double but getting it inline with the other plastics not so easy. I used a drill, rotary tool with cutoff wheels and files to vent my covers.

So I really like the triton r4 front panel better than the zip, will they fit properly with the rest of the zip panels? As Dave eluded to, the Triton is wider than the Zip. I'm sure it's possible, but not easily to make it look like it belongs on the Zip. Also, any guide on here that shows how to vent the cvt case? I put 5 3/8" holes together, but would like to know what tools etc to open it up all the way! 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/360/cvt-coolingEveryone has their own take on CVT cover venting to some degree. It allows you to be creative if you'd like, so there isn't one specific set of tools needed. You can do it simply with a drill and bits or you can add files, rotary tools, cutoff wheels, hole saws, etc... to accomplish different designs. The main thing on the Minarelli covers is to keep the support bearing. It is necessary. Also keep some meat around it so it can do it's job without so much flex and risk of cracking.

So, I guess I over tighten the cylinder rods where they go into the motor cases somehow, and now when I go to bolts the nuts on it just backs the rod out of the case. Anyway I can get these tight in there and stay? Thread locker?

Take the cylinder of and see what you're actually dealing with. If it's just something stripped you'll have options. Usually the cases strip before the studs unfortunately.

The case is stripped, I found your guide about the time sert kit, only thing I could find in my area was a heli coil, so ill grab that and thread locker tomorrow.

I got the heli coil kit today and red thread locker, hopefully I can make it to my dads tomorrow, worst case monday and I hope to God I have it up and running in "runnable" condition! Still have to install my red clutch springs, bring my dads electric impact home and remove my old clutch and swap over the yellow contra spring. Once its running great and doing wheelies, then ill be working on cosmetic.

Got the scoot running today, heli coils installed in the engine case, new(ish) carb installed with a #85 main jet, thing runs at 3/4 throttle, but anymore than that it bogs and feels like itll soft seize, tomorrow ill upjet a bit more and pray it runs 100%. And change out turn signals and the rear light bulb, and shes a runner!!!
Was hoping to make it to niz's house today, but didnt have time, so the cvt work will have to wait a few days.

Was playing around with the MJ size after my class with the buddy that sold me the scoot, Had an 85 in from when I installed the bbk, that was a nightmare riding down the road. I put in a 90, was a tad bit better with the rev'ing, then jumped too a 100. I was to take the air box cover off and then it ran pretty decent, but I want that filter & cover back on so I dropped down to a 95 this morning. Will see how it rides on my way to work.

Since it was my 21st birthday yesterday, im guessing he bought me a truck since hes been talking about it for some time now. Hopefully ill be throwing my scoot in the back of it and driving a truck home today E/ if I get off work at noon on friday, will you be home if I head straight there?

So with the 95 mj, I gotta let it warm up and rev high at a stand still before I can hop on it and ride. With the 100mj it felt like it didnt have enough air flow with the airbox cover off and filter out. Figured a 95 would be great. Just gotta figure it out more I guess. Any insight?

What's the setup again? 70cc w/stock airbox, stock exhaust, and stock carb?
