Looks like shell be stuck at the hospital overnight, cant get her to start for the life of me. I have soark, tachometer says 960rpms, fuel is comin outa float bowl drain line, and I sucked on the vacuum line, gas is movin. Was runnin fine earlier :/

Got it to start a few times but wouldnt stay running. I think ive been premix'ing a little on the rich side, and havent checked the spark plug. I felt there was no use in taking panels & shrouds off in the blazing hot sun to look at the plug, as I didnt have a spare on me, was quite surprised I didnt. But tomorrows a new day

I changed the fuel petcock, filled her up with pre-mixxed gas, and boom, I didnt even have to make the "BRAAAAM!!" Noises myself, that baby sounded great, my girl was watching me and I revved it up and a huge cloud of smoke blew out the muffler and I screamed "2 stroke smoke baby!!!!" Hahaha im stoked.

Borrowed my bosses air pump that connects to battery today, when I get home im gonna get that rear tire pumped up. Hopefully it holds. I also plan on taking the Front Tire from the r3i I took off and threw it in my closet, get that rubber off and onto the back rim with the new valve stem and throw that back onto the scoot. No engine tuning today, just tires  |

Took some soapy water and spray the tire while pumping it up, seems its come off the bead so tomorrow ill have to swap tires on the 12" r3i rims and take both sets of tires up to the gas station to pump them up. Got a side job quote I need to go do in a few minutes, and boy would I love to have my scoot for a quote than drive -.-

Somehow I lost 3 10mm sockets, so I couldnt get the acorn nuts holding the exhaust to the cylinder. "Tomorrows a new day", thats my new favorite saying when working on the scoot lol

Ahh, good day so far. Got my rear tire inflated, and cleaned my carb 110%. Still not getting full throttle, but I think I need a bigger carb, think my stock is a 12?? May get a dell 17.5, maybe dell clone cuz cheaper anyways, in the market for a new/used carb bigger than what I have. Right now I am riding the offroad track behind my apartments. Wish I had a damm gopro, this shit is fun as hell and would love to share it with you guys. |

Well I sure had fun, but ill have to pay for it. Muffler smacked into a big root sticking out of the ground, couldn't stop quick enough and slid on leaves anyways, then the muffler mount by the rear tire has a mount for the tire guard, and that mount is stuck in my tire, digging into it and left a huge gash all the way around the tire, guessing from the muffler pipe smacking the root. It didnt dig all the way through the tire, so its rideable for short distances, but ill be replaced the tire.

Forgot to mention, ill be buying a stage 6 street bbk here shortly, got a side job paying me 3-400$ & she wants a humongous staghorn fern plant removed and thatll sell for anywhere from 3-500$(she doesnt know its worth money, just wants it gone!!)

I had mistaken Stage6 for hoca though, partsfirscooters has a 79cc hoca kit for roughly 160$ after tax & shipping, could be here day after order, so ill probably go with that. I think the stage 6 kits are almost 200$ before tax & shipping, if im not mistaken. Im gonna see if niz76(lives 20-30miles away) has an el cheapo cylinder thatll get me on the road and be realiable before I take that timy(huge to me) step up to a good quality bbk. Btw, I am now able to run full throttle, with the huge exhaust leak and all. Wonder if my muffler needs opened up and drill some holes like Brent has a walkthru for, or if something else is wrong. But, im in the market for a new cylinder if in florida, and a bbk if cheap + a bigger carb for minarelli rear!! |

I do have a no-name cylinder and piston I got in a Ebay lot of 3. This seems to be a nice BBK as the transfers are larger than the other BBK's I have (even larger than the Athena one). One of the exhaust mount holes are stripped but that's an easy fix. Unfortunately though, we had a death in the family and I have to go to Michigan for the funeral so I won't be around for about a week.....

A stripped slot is better than broken, I apologize for the loss, and will do my best to make it up there when you return! Ill see if I can smoothen out my other 70cc cylinder first though, and keep you all updated!!! Tempted to just find a bunch of weekend side jobs, and make my scoot a nice street build. Undecided, and now that ive thought about it, ill more than likely push to make it happen. Damn 2t bug |
