Great vid! You guys in HI have so many fast scoots around. Seems much different than the scooter scene in the rest of the states.

Got the time and the nerve today to get out those bushing sleeves for the motor mount. I welded a washer inside the sleeve. I held the ears in a vice, and smashed the s**t out of it several times until it came out.

Getting a good grip/support on the ear was a lot harder on the long side. Again, I had to smash the s**t out of it several times, and it came out.

You could have just heated the case halves to about 230-240F and tap those bearings out with a 1/2" ratchet extender Oh wait...i think i spoke before i looked hehe. You had some sort of PU bushing in there?

You had some sort of PU bushing in there? They were rubber bushings. I cut the rubber out, but was struggling with the metal sleeve. I tried several methods before coming to this one. They're out now and the build can continue.

I just watched the video and man, that's awesome! I love the carb slide camera angle! mesmerizing. lol. Is that a PWK 28 flat slide? Man, this really gets me wanting to try to organize some kinda scoot run here in Tampa...

Man, this really gets me wanting to try to organize some kinda scoot run here in Tampa… It is the OKO 28mm carb. I think they call it round slide, but the intake side is flat, and the engine side is rounded. Thanks for the comments!
