Hey guys.... I also have a ag 4t... It has 800kms on the dial now... I havent studied enough so you may need to bypass this thread.... I just watched a valve checking vid.... About what is a break in on a 4t?.. it has had the 1st service... i notice a slight "rattle"(usually when wot)... i'm not sure if thats a 4t thing or if maybe my valves need adjusting.. it is hard to start alot of times... I was told that checking valves is needed with colder weather but i'm also thinking that wwith only 800kms, may not need touching.... :lol: ... seen where 4000kms+ is due for adjusting...i apologize if you are "chewing your cabbage twice".....

You can usually hear the valves ticking at any engine speed, so I don't know that your WOT rattle is the valves being out of adjustment. Secure it on the center stand and see if you can get it to rattle. Then you can look around a bit more and figure out where it's coming from better. Checking the valve clearances is not a bad idea. You could also adjust the idle mixture and speed once it's warmed up to see if that makes starting any easier.

Just a update;.... I have since removed the mirrors.(I couldnt see anyway, they hit my shoulder.. to narrow). I also removed the rear mud flap. (which sux if raining, sprays everywhere. (even with the rear fender)) I have "tinted" the lenses, wired up the front running lights now. Got a malossi 1000 main spring/fly springs to install and try to get the cvt in better shape..(threw in some 5.7g rollers).. Need to jet carb and install open air filter with some 4.5g rollers I will post a pic after i get one took in a few.... ;D

Hey guys, Here is an idea of the "tinted" lenses... I will probably go back and lay 1 coat on the headlight when i install the blue runnin lights.. I also removed the mirrors so far... :lol:

Thank you man.... Yeah, i think it's becoming an obsession or something... :rofl: ... (I aslo have a cobra racer, that was suppose to have been a parts bike but is complete. :thumb: ) Sorry about the size of the pic and the quality of the pic.. Seems a bit dark in the living room for some reason....

Sorry for the crappy pic, but the grips are installed.. ;D THANKS TIM... I have changed main spring to malossi white 1000, currently running leo 5.7g rollers.(which isn't right btw,maybe 5's). I NEED to jet, drill a cpl holes in exhaust, open air filter and then slap in some 4.5g and see what happens. (i know someone with about the same setup on his ag, is why i mentioned 4.5)
