I have that intake on my Venus. It turned out to be a stock intake that was opened up a little.Works fine with my 21mm Dell, but I'd just work on a stocker a little if I were to do it again. I've got pics around here somewhere, hang on... EDIT : "The Motoforce intake (left) is pretty much just stock, but opened up a little. It's pretty cheap, but still if I had it to do over I'd just run a drill through the stocker to make it match the carb's diamter. "

Good morning guys.... Cool, i was wondering if it would fit, Shaped different than the kymco.. Yeah, i was looking for a stock replacement. The scoot is stock and i have yet to swing him to the "other side" yet.. The carb is still oem, looks like a 16mm but of course i could be wrong.... They should use alum. or something other than rubber... @ jason, that would be great... pm being sent

The rubbery intake usually isn't that bad. So far I haven't seen a cracked minarelli intake in person. Now, go over to the GY6 50-150 and those rubber intakes are very prone to cracking.

When i saw it i called david to ask why it was wrapped with duct tape, He said he had no idea it was there.. A shop had did "work" on it.. They probably cracked, then they covered it up.. This could be why he only gets 30-35 huh?.. A good part of it i'm sure. This thing doesnt even have a air filter at all... just the tube...

Well it might be slow cause it's lean from the lack of airbox/filter and/or duct tape intake repair.

Thanks for the input guys...This thing evidently dont even have the air box, i figured i'd at least throw a cone shaped on it. At least it'd have a filter...... The dang plug boot is even duct taped on...WTH? Luckily i have a few spare ngk 1's. Why yeah, that car batt. is still hooked up.. Just found a "ground" wire dangleing. Gotta find that source also....Maybe i can find a used batt anyway.. Did see some on ebay? for like $25..(IDK how much he has to spend on anything either). The pulley and star key should come in today i hope.. The abuse, neglect on here is nuts.. I'm still "wet behind the ears" on a scoot and i'd be nervous to ride this thing to the store... :scared:

Hey guys... I never thought to ask about the "shims" that i think are suppose to be in here in the cvt...Does scootercraft have those? The actual name? I guess cutting washers is the same thing.. Are/was there suppose to be one behind the var.?

Some of them come with a washer or shim (usually called a restrictor) some don't. I dunno who carries them for the larger splined cranks. It doesn't need to be in there, but it may help low end if the belt isn't getting down in the vari much.
