I've read about people having problems finding gear sets for super 8. Maybe it's the bigger wheel that makes the gear size not match up as easily as you'd expect... I dunno.

Ehm...what kinda engine does the super 8 2t has? Because AFAK the super 8 'two stroke' doesn't even exist. Only the super 9 is two stroke to my knowledge I tried looking on dutch fora for aftermarket gears but for the super 8 four stroke there aren't any! Really! But i can't find NOTHING on a super 8 'two stroke'. Maybe it never sold in Europe??? Anyway, for the super 8 4stroke there aren't any aftermarket gears.

Hmmm.... different gears from a different bike eh... now that's outside the box. But the dimensions have to fit perfect I'd think.
I think this is the final piece to complete my bike...
Thanks alot both of you for helping me out like this

Spaz, if you don't have any use for that engine, I may take it off your hand for a backup in the near future.
So is that engine really a Honda? Do I need to post the photo of my gears in here again?

That's not my motor. But... I can get a motor from a super 9 from my buddy. And it is not a Honda motor. It is Kymco's version of a Minarelli.
