Sorry man. I should have known better than to think you'd have luck that's not bad.  I was hoping your streak was over. I was thinking you'd inherited my bad luck, maybe I gained someone elses  Going to pay a visit to Readspeed (http://www.readspeedscooters.com/) on monday, they can make me a head whilst I wait and they have a dyno. Only just found them, only 40mins away too ;D The facilities/resources available to you are envious. |

I've got plenty of my own bad luck without yours. lol It's a good thing there's an ocean between us, cause if we lived anywhere near each other I think there'd be meteors crashing into our towns and scooters exploding all around us and I don't have a bomb suit or an umbrella.  I would probably die within a week if my luck was any worse :laugh: It doesn't restrict itself to scooters either, ended up with two sticks of dodgy RAM, both brand new  |

Found 6 shorts so far in the stator wiring, isn't going to help matters :lol:
Brent, I now have your wiring gremlins too :rant: They're at the stator connectors I did a while back, they've been rubbing and have worn though the heat shrink.

I wish you luck with it. I really wanna see this thing work for you. So much time and money involved and such a cool looking scoot and I bet it will move if you can get it all working together.

Nope - no sign of any good luck as of yet  Went to investigate my lack of speedo to find my front wheel bearing was locked solid (  ) and my £40 speedo drive was mangled. I assume they are related. |

Bearing and speedo drive fixed - now, what will it throw at me? Oh, I know - a mysterious misfire aught to do the trick. It's almost funny now :rofl:
I've checked the usual suspects so have given up - It'll get sorted when it goes for it's booked dyno run on Sat. Yes - I'll get a printout ;D

Dyno report! Took a little faffing to find the ignition problem, turned out to be a dodgy low tension coil. With that out the way, it soon became clear the setup was all over the shop, clutch springs too hard (slipping at 11k), too lean at the top end and too rich mid range. I haven't touched clutch or jetting since it came back from Andy I decided to leave it there, I'll collect it next Saturday fully setup for the road and perfect, instead of the ''good enough'' it would be if they rushed it so I could take it home today. They did mention I could enter it into BSSO and be competitive with my setup, now that's an idea :burnout: Will report back when I collect it |
