Hey guys.. Can anyone pls tell me what this is used for? dellorto 19 PHBG thx! I tried to find your post from yesterday where you asked this question. Can't seem to find it. Anyway, again, can you please take a few more pictures of it so that it can be viewed better.

Look inside of the carb. I assume you will be able to see a port in the airflow path for each of the barbs. Either could be used for vacuum operated accessories or oil injection hookup.

My carb installation will have to wait. Need to order those 90 degree bends and a 38 and 40 Idle Jet. treatland.tv seems to have them in stock. Anyone has some pics of those bends on a 19mm Dello carb? There is a 90 bend with "long" adjuster for $4.99. How long is that adjuster? Long enough to be a problem in a narrow area?

If using the adjusters make sure your inner cable is long enough.

If using the adjusters make sure your inner cable is long enough. Good point! Is there a way to fix it if it's not? I'd imagine cutting the outer sheath, but I'm thinking that's not nearly as easy to do as it is to say.

Its possible to cut the outer and put a new end on. Easily obtained from a bicycle shop if you can't reuse the original.

Ah good point about cutting. I would like to avoid that if possible. Can I not just take the adjuster of the straight stock one and replace the long adjuster?

If possible I would do it rather then cutting. Cables are easy enough to make to your specs if needed from bicycle cables. Brent has some info on here.

Today I checked if the 19mm carb fits into the stock intake, and yes it fits. It is a bit tighter then with the stock carb but it goes in. Now the stock intake has 4 small....I don't know how to call them...best look at the picture below. The yellow marked things. Can I or is it even recommended to cut those away?

Those locate the stock carb. I think Brent trimmed them off when he used the phgb carbs so he could seat the carb all the way in the intake

My clones just have a couple of tiny nubs, but they served the same purpose. I used a razor knife and cut 'em off. Stock carbs still work fine on mine, but like any other carb you just have to be mindful of how it's clocked when installed without the locators. Not a big deal.
