The little blue lens on the high-beam indicator fell out so I took my gauge cluster apart and super-glued it back. While I was in there i found a wire with a bullet connector on it hanging and yep thats why the front brake wouldn't make the brake light come on. Never did see anything that looks like it was missing a weird little screw. Anyway, I was going to try the 85 main jet i got at the scooter shop and those idiots gave me Polini jets, an 88 and 89 not 85 and 88 like i asked for. I compared them to the jets that came with my 50mm kit and they are HUGE compared to those. I told those guys that I had a 139qmb with the stock carb. I would just keep them for the future but they were $14!! SOOO Im gonna go back and get my money. The 47mm kit I bought from RD has an 88 in it so thats cool. The guys down there at that shop seemed more interested in selling new scooters then selling a few parts. they sold 3 while I was standing there, Nice ones too. I asked them for some dr.pulley sliders and they looked at me like I was nuts. Anyway, Anyone recognize that mystery screw?

Hope they don't give you any trouble returning the parts. Hope the ones I bought on ebay for a GY6 150cc work in mine. No the seller didn't have any for a 50cc, I looked. The screw doesn't look familiar to me off hand, put it in a safe place and it'll show up some day though.

The box arrived in one piece. Thanks. Be a bit till I can get scooter work done though. Shed is an icy wet mess. I'll let you know if I can use the 115. I think I had a 110 and 112 stock, my set starts at 120. After I get the shed moved to its permanant spot I think I'll try sylicone around the bottom.

HAHA maybe you should put it up on stilts? Well i got the bike that i have for sale all put together and it all went soooooo well.......until the end. The damn brake light circuit is somehow tied in with ALL the other lights. Turn signals, running lights, even the damn dash light. UGH!!!! I have someone coming to look at it on sunday. He wanted to come friday morning but i put it off till sunday and i sure am glad i did! On a positive note, it runs great and went together better than mine did. Yeah if you want that 115 and 105 you can have em just send me the postage...whenever that time comes. I will hang on to them for you.

Fuse is ok? I know if my regulator, stator overloads it blows the headlight and tail lights, and guage's, but the blinkers and brake light aren't affected. My first electrical short was in the guage's, bit of insulation on a wire inside had cracked and caused the wire to connect to a screw inside. Blew the fuse till found and taped.

It got dark on me so I called it a night. Tomorrow I'm gonna start tracing things out. Yeah the fuse is ok. The problem is that when I apply the brake, ALL the lights come one. crazy, thanks for the tip though!

Huh. So a wire that doesn't belong got connected to the brake light wires. Blinker wires are blue and orange...you can check your tail light connections for the colors you are looking for, should be 2 live wires and a ground in that plug one is the brake the yellow/white wire is head/tail light i think. Brown? for the brake light? make sure those connection wires are not touching somewhere. It'll probably be in the plug area in the front by the headlight where you were moving things around by the guage. or the plug area by the tail light. I use electtrical tape as a preventive measure.

Yellow w/white = headlight/taillight Green=ground Green w/yellow stripe = brake light
Look for that green/yellow hitting the yellow/white or in the wrong spot on the plug

You helped me kinda see in my head whats going on and I have a printout of the wiring here...
G/Y (Green w/yellow stripe) = brake light LBL (Light Blue) =right turn signal circuit O (Orange) =left turn signal circuit BR (Brown) = tail light/dash light and the little light on the front (kinda like your "parking lights" on a car..I have a switch for that)
SOMEWHERE G/Y, LBL, O and BR are touching.
Thanks for helping me get this straight in my head.

There is a connector under the gas tank where ALL those wires come together but i cant get to it, but i can see it. There is a panel thing under the gas tank I guess for overflow or spilling or whatever and I cant quite see how it comes off but thats gotta be the problem, its where all those colors come together.

This is the rear light assembly where all the colors listed above come together....as you can see..there was a screw going right into the bundle of wires....

That'll do it. Glad you found the culprit.
