Sooo been out a bit, tore the joker down again because the idle thing came back! Heres what i found that seems to have done fixed it. I most definitely had a too thin a base gasket (weird it didn't damage the piston and may have been causing a heat issue from detonation??) So thicker gasket, moved the needle down to lean out the cruise speed. I needed that anyways-acceleration improved and can use mix screw to fine tune it. Also found tiny vacuum leak to the petcock. So happy now  was not happy with the cvt case color so now it's brighter like BAM! magenta... I know not for everyone but that's why I'm special  also trying out a e-start delete- been wanting to try it out. Will c if it frees up any power at all? Because real men don't use electric starter  |

Ohh and check this, trying out a digital color display for the dash... Mph can't keep up with the acceleration though.  |

Okok.. Starter gear and all went back in. After testing without it, i was impressed with the smoooothness of the motor after the delete but even with a re-tune of the trans. There's NO performance gains (for me) so after sleeping on it i decided to keep the e-start just won't use it unless having issues and for when i run w/ no cvt cover. Hope everyone is having fun with yr rides... I did some carb tuning and droped my weights to 19.2 w/ naraku white contrast spring switched from a worn out 08 rear pulley to a 04 and amn it pulls hard now! I'm shocked there was more to be had, even scared some kids  in the neighborhood. Spring is here and finally i have my scoot ready for the annual H-town scoot down just to find out there is not going to be a scooter rally this year! WTF! Still can't believe it  so that's that. Calling out to anyone that reads this who either lives in Houston or knows of a scooter tuning dude here in H-town that would like to ride, let me know? Thanks guys. Later    |

So I've had this issue with the Athena Race exhaust, the spring hook keeps breaking off and then the pipe will slide off under acceleration  so i decided to have it welded up into a solid pipe plus strengthen a area that was cracking. A day later and $50 it's done - happy with it. Also ported the exhaust a little bit. |
