I am really needing some help on just getting the CDI wired. I just want to get it hooked and running without any harness for now. This is a good question for those JOG gurus out there. I know one needs to be grounded, one is for kill switch, one goes to coil, but that's where Im stuck. Help? <Wires coming from the engine> Yellow Green White Red/BLK stripe White/Red stripe </>

That looks like a lot of fun!
Is the fuel tank the seat?

The tank is actually a little Aluminum sprite can for now Eventually, I would like to have a tank in the frame/under the tank. I think it would be very slick. Oh yeah! I also bolted on a 96cc top end from Partsforscooters.

What a cool build. Great stuff. Would love to see a video of it racing when you rip up the track.

I'm starting to doubt the potential of a 90cc versus a built 70. I feel like I am in uncharted waters with my setup, but I know there is safe power with a 70.
I should keep going right?

Your already this far just keep going. The thing about the 90+ motors is they don't rev like the smaller 70's. They have tons of cruising torque but in stock form lack the hp your looking for. With some timing adjustments they really wake up but don't expect them to rev out more then 10,500-11,000. With that light frame you'll still be plenty fast though. Check your current timing and squish and go from there.
