Today I did some work on my scooter.
But, the big job was cleaning out the garage. We live a 1/2 mile down a dirt road, plus they farm the land all around us. That equates to a lot of dust and dirt getting in the garage (dust in the house also). I don't know how, but I gained a little more room to park my scoots in-between the cars.

Started fixing my computer chair, the metal plate sheared from fatigue so I'm making a new one with reinforcements.

Might not have been today, but on Wednesday my old man and I finally got to take our new, refitted boat onto the water. It floats and runs and steers. It's a 1976 Thunderbird ski boat. We put our 2003 25hp 2 stroke mercury motor on it. It is slow as molasses in January but it handles nice. I think we maxed at 7-9 knots. Or roughly 8-12 MPH. Either is plausible based on the readings from digihud GPS speedo.

Most of the low end lawn equipment is NOT designed for repair..Point in case is a CubCadet string trimmer my good aircraft customer has,,pull cord broke asked if Id fix it,I say OK,pick it up,tear it down,,no way to feed in a new cord!!After 2 hrs of work,it still doesnt work correctly,,what is my time worth???What is a cheap new string trimmer worth? ?(PS,I am a small engine mechanic also)....

Charge them another $20 for each lie they tell. I have charged extra in the past when things were dropped off half torn apart and I have to guess how it all goes back together.

Thanks
I think I might do a wood top that fits inside the frame. I just going to clear the frame, kind of an industrial look
