I tried the sprayer out today. The battery gauge looked good, so the load doesn't appear to be an issue. I sprayed 28 gallons of water and weed killer, cleaned it out, and removed the sprayer rig and it took almost exactly 2 hours compared to 6 with the hand sprayer. I should have had one of these years ago.

Does laundry count? If so, I work in a kitchen and regularly get greased covered. Have any of you ever had to BOIL YOUR CLOTHES?! It sucks. All of the grease doesn't come out in a normal wash even if you do it multiple times. So ever so often, about every 2-3 months, I have to boil my pants. Let me tell you now that it isn't pretty... But the results are fabulous. Not that any of you care about my laundry issues.
All I can say is that Dawn works wonders.

Never tried boiling out grease, heck I just live with it..Jet fuel(kerosene) is another thing thats hard to get out, your whole wash load will smell like it,,and dont make the mistake of having the wife wash her undies after your wash load!!

I think most of my clothes would go up in flames in presence of a match. I get to play in diesel. I got to play with a 2 stroke at work. Ok 2T diesel. One of my favorites Detroit 12V71, 71 Ci per cylinder. Turbos feed root type superchargers. One of the loudest motors I think. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit_Diesel_Series_71

I am no laundry expert but my clothes get heavily greased and soiled from working on stuff and just wearing them too long. When my pants stand up by themselves I usually start to think about washing them. I am an old bachelor and alone most of the time so I don't give a shit. Clothing that is heavily greased seems to respond to Castrol Super clean and hot water real well. It can be pre-washed in a bath tub, big sink, or a bucket depending on quantity. Heavily soiled clothing, sweat, stains, etc respond to extra laundry soap, pre-soak, and hot water with an extra rinse. The directions for laundry soap quantity is for 'normal' soil; worn once, no grease, etc, etc. Many small or localized stains come out great when sprayed with Formula 409 or generic equivalent before washing. No need for $$$ gooey special laundry pre-wash products. My laundry sits around until I run out of something to wear. Damn, I need to do laundry again...

Oh yeah you don't even have to buy it you can make a crude filter and then just dribble some water through wood ash. the green liquid that comes out is lye. This is forgotten knowledge of the past. It is shameful that we have forgotten so much and are now so dependant on bottled store bought miracle stuff that never works as well as the old timey stuff. Just be carefull with the lye. you don't want that stuff on your skin at least not for long (as it will try to remove the grease/oils from your skin).
