Oh yes thank you FrankenMech for reminding me about shelving for the garage, much more space. 😊. Finally got everything in the shed and now tomorrow I shall tidy up and get rid of a few things and sort tools out and crack on with the Peugeot Pox.

Nice day of rest after today's school cancelled yesterday. WRONG! 07.30 Tomorrow's school Llwyn yr Eos for the next two weeks cancelled. So contact staff let them know then boss lady ring's to say find a school to poach their kids from one of the schools we've done already so the trainee instructors can be assessed and passed by the head instructor from Bristol a 100+ miles away. Next arrange Kerbcraft for the Llwyn yr Eos school next week so we have some work. In touch with the deputy head who is working from his bed due to injury. Nearly sorted then work's computer says no so can't download parental consent form for Kerbcraft. Speak to boss lady to arrange send me form to other email and arrange a staff meeting for tomorrow morning to pass over Head Instructors position (me)to mum as she is known because she remembers everything and 36 years young both me and others instructor in our mid to late 60's and can't remember what day it is lol . I can then cut back on duties and concentrate on puppets more. I am now sitting in my office enjoying coffee

Today I have been working on my flexible retirement as they call cutting back on my hours at work so I still get my work's pension before pushing up the daisies. No one knows how it works so could take a few meetings of different departments which our council are renowned for. Then passing the workload onto our young new instructor Sophiya who me and the old one who works with me call mum as she knows everything and thinks us old farts could make a comedy duo. She is known for not swearing or raising her voice but you know when not to wind her up anymore and so do the kids. The kids do get confused with us calling her mum when we are in our 60's and she's only 36 lol

Looking for bits and pieces in town today but nowhere had them in sensible small amounts, walked into the local charity shop and you can buy from 1 nail or whatever you want upwards and neatly displayed in jam jars.

Does the charity shop get them from donations etc? Then package them up together from like items?

Does the charity shop get them from donations etc? Then package them up together from like items? Yes they take the odds out of various donations and repackage them in the appropriate jar. Reminds me of grandparents and parents putting little bits in old jars rather than being part of the throwaway world we live in. Suppose I am the same with broken bike bits that some of the parts might be of use for something. Plus my 2 biscuit tins of old nuts and bolts washers etc. Plus of course the old junk I get going again which should be left!

EXCELLENT! Great looking place. Imaginative, very imaginative. I totally approve. I hope the food was good.
I struggle to keep weight on. The Docs have me on Mounjaro for my diabetes but some use it as a weight loss drug. I can see why, a few spoons of food and I feel full and very little tastes good either. My diet is crap since I live alone and do not cook anything. I just throw crappy food in the microwave and of course it still tastes like crap when warmed up. I go somewhere to eat occasionally but I still hate eating alone.
I am working on improving my bedroom computer. Amazon made an 'upgrade' to their systems which totally 'Fuc*ed up my ability to use their prime video. I thought about converting both of my computers to Linux but the bedroom system is an old 32 bit computer that no longer works for modern versions of Linux. Instead of screwing with both my office 64 bit and bedroom 32 bit computers I decided to just get one of those micro computers for the bedroom and hook it up. It comes with Ubuntu Linux already on it and maybe I can get it to work as a PC so I can access Prime Video that way. I will futz with my office computer later and see if I can get Linux to work on it. I don't know if I will try Ubunu or Mint Linux on it. I have tried Ubutu before and never had much luck with it. Besides the new Windoze operating systems, I don't like the newer browser versions either. They have all been Shanghaied to just serve adverts to people and I only see that getting worse with time and the orange one. The internet really sucks nowadays, just like over the air TV.

Just been working on avoiding snow in Wales and Central England on my way back from Scotland where there is none hardly mainly ice up here. I'm on my back from a funeral up here. Turned into a fiver day trip with tonights stopover near Lancaster and I know the mountain roads will be closed tonight due to snow and then a 50+ miles detour. Just what you need after a 440 miles trip. One thing that amused me after the funeral the wake was a private function in a place called Moriarty's run by the Hell's Angels who put on a very lovely Vegan and Vegetarian and gluten free spread for the non meat eaters 😊
I also had to laugh at the name of the lounge it was held in Broadmoor Criminal Lunatic Asylum, a place I did my nursing in.

Why is there a bicycle hanging on the side of the building in the first picture?
A little sun on those roads will make the ice and snow go away.

Was lucky getting home before the freeze as the sun was setting not long after. Bicycle thing I found this link on Wikipedia
