The rollers finally came in and I was able to tune. I will say Malossi rollers are really nice. I started at 7gr and the revs topped out at about 8000 rpm and take off was sluggish. I wasn't quite able to hit the pipe. I went to 6.5gr and got to 8500 rpm, better and I just caught the pipe. Got further up the variator. I then went to 6gr and I topped out at 9200rpm and hit the power band better. Take off was good and I'm almost at full travel on the variator. Good enough for a scoot I'm selling. very ridable and no crazy 12,000 rpm runs. Unfortunatly I'm starting to like tis scooter. No love affair just a casual dating thing. I started looking at BBK ands found a Naruku on Scootertuning for $79 plus shipping. Maybe with a Multivar and cheaper variator it would be ready to upgear and be a fast scoot. I must say it does handle well. Some Michelin Power Pure tires I might give it a ring. No, I'd rather spend time with what I hope to be my new Italian girl, the ET2 in storage.
