I got mine today, a left and a right hand. They'll look good on the TGB.

If I had the money, I would catch a flight down to Florida and drive that rattler all the way back to TN. The scoot scene around here seems big, but there isn't a thing on ebay or craigslist that is worth a damn. The only thing of any note I've been able to find is another TaoTao VIP just like the one I have only in red. Sigh...

So I still have this scoot. Quite honestly the longer I own it the harder it's getting to sell. I have broken on of my own flip tips and have gotten attached to it. I lowered the price a few weeks back down to $900 and I've been turning down offers of $800 about three times a week lol. There's another Rattler for sale near me in Orlando for $1500 and a 49cc Roughhouse for $1300, so the price is more than fair for a clean, turn-key scoot that needs nothing. We all know how the Craigslist buyers sap the life outta ya and needless to say it's no different in this scenario. I think the Zuma flips that I did that sold for similar prices pretty quickly (well, one sold for $900 and the other I traded for two modified pre-bugs) because they had the name recognition going for them. Big Zuma following out there so it's not so difficult to sell them at decent prices. I figured the right buyer would've come across this Rattler by now and know what it is and snatch it up. I guess I gave the general public a little too much credit haha. All in all it seems much easier to sell a scoot in the $500-$600 range unless it's something like a Zuma, Ruckus, Vespa, or something with name recognition. The general public just seems to want shiny no-name scoots at bottom dollar prices. I've flip flopped and changed my mind so many times with this scoot- sometimes I just to want to keep it as I'm pretty excited at the possibilities with what is basically an Aerox100 engine, but I also am VERY attached to my Roketa AIR scoot as it's simply unmatched in comfort and ride quality. I've ridden a ton of different scoots and I just love that damn AIR so much! Haha. Eeeny Meeny Miney Moe... I'll probably end up selling this Rattler (I'm staying dang FIRM on the price though!) but I think I'll do something different this time. Instead of the same old boring thing I always do and pay bills or whatnot with a scoot sale, this time I think I'll splurge a bit and get something shiny and new for the AIR (no vintage parts this time!!) ;P It's been a while and she's earned it.

Lucky you that you've gotten all those offers and been able to turn all those people down. I've literally gotten one offer on mine and it was a scammer. I'm starting to think that people just want cheap scooters now.

Hang in there, enjoy it while you have it! The right buyer will come along and pay your price eventually. I would not take a penny less for it either. Scoots are dirt cheap in my area this time of year, all the foreign kids here for summer work are leaving and dumping their 4T's cheap.

I agree the no frills stuff goes quick. I could list a $4-500 scoot it will be gone the next day. But I did manage to sell a triton for $1800. Sometimes you just need to sit on it for awhile. I'd keep the air over the rattler. Change the title to Zuma, it'll be sold! Good luck!

SOLD!! The lady that I've been talking to for a few days now showed up tonight and bought the scoot. She bought it for her best friend's son who is the kid who has been texting me every day for about a week about this scoot. Sending texts like "I've done my research and watched your videos and I want it sooo bad. Please don't sell it before we show up..." etc. lol. Well this lady must be a great friend to fork over the cash for a friend's kid like that. I started it up for her and ripped it up and down the road and even did a few wheelies while she watched. She wasn't even sure exactly what the price was. I informed that I was in fact firm on the $900 price and she handed over nine crisp hundies. I signed the title and bill of sale over to her- well, actually left the buyers info blank so the kid can fill it in later- and she left. The scoot will sit here until Thursday when they'll be returning with a truck to pick it up. I guess I have one more day to play on it.

Damn the way you list your flips is a main selling point, just having patients is the key,"List it right and they shall come"haha
