I think this is how you do pulled pork. Shredded pork, Hawaiian rolls, slaw... yum.

Make the trip to PA and I'll feed you guys. I make a few family members mad when I tell them I made this and they didn't come over. They love my sauce and slaw, not your typical slaw I use a cider vinegar and evoo base dressing.

Hahaha!! In Thailand, it is an every day happening to see BBQ/smoker carts, with pork, fish...squid! Whatever else. We often miss ribs, though we can find pork here, but beef does not exist, unless imported from OZtralia or NZ. Brisket....The "beef" here is oxen...not the same.

As much as I often miss BBQ, we limit proteins to 3 to 5 oz. Lean, mean starving machine! My GF is Thai...absolutely loves spicy pulled pork! We make it often.

But doesn’t like a lot of vegetables. Mostly a carbitarian. shes a Veternarian technician. So she’s big on not slaughtering animals or animal cruelty. But there’s tons of soy protein based products for her to chose from.

If an animal is a vegetarian, that makes its meat vegetarian, right?

For starters, I'm a cook by trade and choice. There's my disclaimer. OK, so far today I've made white wine braised lamb shanks, bacon fat roasted carrots, creme brulee, chocolate tarts with a brown sugar and pretzel crust, lemon tarts, smoked oysters, red pepper coulis, matri d' butter, classique butter, herbed goat cheese, whipped ricotta, and I'm not even talking about my own dinner tonight which will probably be microwaved corn dogs or ramen, lol. Who says cooks eat well all the time?

Tonight's dinner consisted of crispy, thinly sliced pork tenderloin tossed in a szechuan orange gastrique over a bed of jasmine rice. Topped with sauteed bamboo shoots and garnished with dried saffron petals.
