Is the weakness the food or the waitress...

After watching some behind-the-scenes videos on what they do to the cows produced for the mass market and the @$$hole corporations behind it, I have stopped eating at BK, Micky D's etc. Grossed me out. Quickly gave up on going veggie though, animals just taste too good not to eat. I stopped eating that kind of chain food years ago. There are so many better options taste-wise (especially here in LA). Corporate farming only makes the decision that much easier. If you can call what they put in there meat. For me, McDonald's/Burger King is only airport food. Like when I'm jamming to make a connection and need something quick-ish. Everytime I eat fast food it tastes ok, but my tummy makes me regret it later. Taco Bell does that. Its delicious but I'll pay for it.

They actually hired a nutrition expert to make the perfectly balanced, healthy meals. They never caught on and wouldn't ya know, Taco Bell changed their menu at the beginning of this month. Took away my Fiery shells, and I was NOT happy about that. I gotta say I like Taco Bell... and any tacos really.

Bringing back the double chalupa, retiring the mini chicken quesadillas and the cheese crunch taco, among other tjings. Gotta try one of those. Their fresco menu has always been pretty healthy for fast food. Basically swapping beans for meat and the sour cream with something else, I forget. And now they just added all the vegitarian and vegan items to the main menu. All those you could order for a long time but now they are on the menu. And they announce all this stuff which is cool. Yeah, taco Bell is alright

As someone who back in the day was part of the write in campaign to bring back the encharito, I can tell you that I’d rather skip a meal than bother with most fast food. Heck, I just scored a recipe to make the carrots and jalapeños that you find at the cantinas. Totally getting into that!

Some Lamb and Lentil Chili(?) Not sure but this is the second time I made this and I got the lamb at the supermarket. The first time I got it from the Indian market and they cut it right off the leg. Next time I’m going back to the Indian market.

Apple crisp That's 2 pounds of apples, 2 cups of brown sugar and a ton of butter. More of a "juicy" shot. It's still warm. It'll be all crispy tomorrow when it's cooled completely. Couldn't wait tho.
