I was gonna cook kielbasa with peppers, onions and noodles anyway, but the guys above (errr... previous page) influenced me to change it up a bit. Cut the noodles in half and used more veggies. Zucchini, celery, corn, mushrooms and extra onions and peppers.

Hell yeah, looks great, and that's a TON of food! Damn I just might have to make some sausage & chicken soup now
Edit: that literally just now inspired me to get the big pot back out and take the meat outta the freezer! Lol

Two good buddies just sitting in some oil lol Boiled some big-ass ride noodles, cooled them in tap water n threw 'em in. They keep their form and don't go so soggy after they've say in the fridge for a couple days. Egg noodles are too starchy n moist Just sittin'on the stove now, turning it over with a big spoon every 10 minutes or so. It's gotta go in the fridge tonight cuz i wanna go to BED! What am i listening too.... easier to post here.... The Kinks

Any Asian grocer for noodles like that, but the local mart is starting to carry a lot more Asian stuff. That's where these noods came from. I'd post a pic of the brand but I'd have to go dig in the trash

OH sorry, my learned accent must have come out - I mistakenly wrote "ride" noodles but meant "rice" noodles hehe!

Weird, I always associated gumbo with bayou meats or seafood. I got gumbo filé seasoning but did not use any in the chic-saus soup.

I can't help what they call the stuff. It is the closest stuff I eat to the great stuff you guys make. Both Progresso and Campbels Chunky makes a similar concoction, I can't tell the difference between them. After three strokes I can't figure out a lot of stuff.

I don't watch TV news. All it is is a string of sound bites without detail or real meaning. I read all my news and study it all in detail. I still seem to be able to figure out what is BS due to a lifetime of training and continuing education.
I can't cook anymore. My brain just won't handle the prep or details, short term memory is crap. Recipes don't help at all. I just like to see what you guys make and drool.

Fresh fridge food stash is basically gone. Last thing was some fish in the freezer, Alaskan style: Halibut and Salmon. Thaw, dry n oil up with a couple basic spices. In the (sorry 90GTVert) air fryer Baked potatoes in the fryer are awesome, but have to learn how to time it to come out at once.
