Thank you. I really enjoy these builds. I'm already thinking about the next one and I'm not even done with this one yet.

Incredible!
Have you ever done or considered doing a naked style helix? I have seen a few and I bet you could do a nice one!

Thanks guys for the kind words, I appreciate the comments! Incredible! Have you ever done or considered doing a naked style helix? I have seen a few and I bet you could do a nice one! When I purchased my first Helix I was planning on doing a naked Helix. This bike was going to be my inspiration: NAKED HELIX CLICK HERE
But the plan changed and I decided to swap the engine into one of our Rucks.

But the plan changed and I decided to swap the engine into one of our Rucks. When compared to the one in the link you provided, your swap makes better sense and looks better than their effort. I was thinking more along the lines of using the helix frame to make a naked scoot. I have seen some done that way also.

Only 40 degrees today but I had to take the Ruck out for a test ride. I'll tweak a few things but it went well.

Beautiful build, and great craftsmanship too.
I was happy to see you kept the electronic fuel pump. I've seen a couple Ruck swaps, and they both ditched the pump and ran a vacuum pump.
I've got two Helixes now, if I do t have to rob one to fix the other too bad, I may just bite the bullet and go for a Naked Helix on the 86. Love these bikes. With a little time spent on the CVT 80-85 is very possible, and it doesn't feel like the engine minds at all.

Thanks 2stroked.
Do you run an aftermarket variator?

How is it to find parts for an older helix scooter? Are common replacements still available from Honda. Is there much available in aftermarket parts?
I love the look of your conversation. I want a ruckus. I don't like the super long stretched ones. Your bikes are a great mix of looks and power.
Thank you for documenting your build.
