Today I cleaned out the carb and changed my fuel line from an all black one to the clear one I had laying around. If I need to do the "kiss of life" it would make it easier to see the gas go up to the carb.
If all goes well I will be riding later today or tomorrow. Judy have to take care of some non scoot things first.

Sweet. Just don't use those lines for a vacuum line, if you got one. I had a hell of a time with those mnnthbx colored lines until I figured out that they flexed too much to keep a vacuum.
You get up and running and I'll do the same. Well go for a ride . I figured out that I can fit my scoot in my yukon. Makes it real easy to get down there

But I'll keep it in mind I'd have to swing down to get you, then we'd head up towards Dallas and into Texarkana and over that way. Just like Smokey and the bandit! The more people that go the cheaper it is. You won't regret it. We talk about it all year after. |

Finally got a 30 min ride in to play with the carb. It started pretty easy after the "kiss of life" rode like a charm for the most part. Being the first time I had clear lines I did notice that when it began sputtering or backfiring was then I got a bubble in the fuel line. I might have cut it too long.  |

Adjusted the mix screw and went to my daughter's daycare to have lunch with her. There were no issues with the ruck. Seems that I'm moving in the right direction.

I know there are a lot of issues with the stock gy6 carb. So I ordered a 28mm OKO from treatland.tv abd a new UNI filter. The old one has seen better days. Midland dirt wasn't it's best friend. I will be buying the throttle cable soon.
What jets should I GET?

Will the carb fit your intake? That's a great question. I think the ID of the stock is either 22 or 24mm so I might need another intake. I gotta buy a few things from TRS so I can add the intake to the list. Thanks for the heads up 👍🏼 |
