So I put the 6.1 and 7.2 gram rollers in. The RPM maxed at 9100 rpm and it was much more rideable. Top speed seems to be just a little better. I think this may be where it wants to be. I'll check belt travel next time I'm in. I think I may want to loosen the clutch springs a little. Not sure what notch they are on. I'll ride with this for a few days and see how I feel.

I'm sure you've heard the GB running up and down the street. It sounds like some chainsaw maniac on the loose.

I finally got the almost last piece on. There is one small piece that goes under this that's on its way from Italy. But it button up the front and covers all of the fluid tanks.

I did some CVT tuning on this scoot as well. I stiffened the green clutch springs, the lightest I have. I put 6.1 gr rollers in and took the spacers out. I know one thing at a time but I knew this was the direction to go. Take off was much better. It was closer to the power band. I got it to rev out at 9250 rpm and it felt better. The spacers gone put the belt maxed out on the clutch but not all the way down on the variator. I'll run this while I search for that longer belt that fits.

While in my storage unit I found the Yasuni C16 I bought from Oldgeek. Its for a Piaggio engine and I bought it for the ET2 but I'm thinking the SR50 would be a better fit and the Giannelli Reverse maybe for the ET2. Any opinions on this?

That's a mystery how they got in there. Just lucky it didn't suck it into the engine. Pipe looks good 👍

I had to look away when the intake swap turned into neutering a reed block. I don't like stock parts either, but that's just cruel.

So I had some time today so I thought I should play with the CVT but first I wanted to figure out the slightly rough idle without tearing into it. I pulled the battery and reached in to check all of the connections including the plug boot. All was good. hmmm. I decided to go get coffee and decide what the CVT needed. It was very low on gas because I had left it all over town. The ride there was a little rough but after I filled up it was much better. When I got to the coffee trailer it was purring very nicely. Oh it needs to warm up to run well.
I got home and pulled the CVT cover and checked the Variator marks and there was still a little left to go. This pipe isn't getting full RPM's and so I don't have the full variator. I decided to try my new belt that's 18.5X834 the old was 18.75X810. It isn't as tight and rides on the top of the clutch and with 2 shims it sits down in the variator. I put it on and started it and gave it a quick rev. Then I opened it back up and it was sitting very nicely. Could stand to be a little shorter but okay. I took it out and it was okay, much better starts. I then dropped the weights from 6.1 to 5.5 and marked the variator again. I took it for a longer ride. The pipe is definitely happier. It was revving to 10,000rpm and hitting the pipe. The scooter has a much smoother ride. I pulled the cover and saw I still had about 4 mm of room left. I'm off next week so I'll do some more playing. and document what I've done and speed and RPM so that I can find the sweet spot. One thing I have noticed is the Temperature gauge never gets really warm it stays in the lower third of the range. I need to look at the plug and see if its rich. Maybe I can find a snorkel to pull to get some more air to it since changing jets are not an option. for now it's good.
