I have 2 predictions; 1: the belt will probably be the 764mm or longer. 2: the belt will be so long it will take some tuning to make it sit right in the OEM vario. Have you tried going wider? Wouldn't wider be even longer still?

I missed the wider part...
Wider is easy to deal with on the variator with shims. Outback on the TD you can go wider to a certain amount but too wide and you’ll be opening the pulley, changing the ratio. So you can go a few mm wider but not much more then the TD is designed for. Up to 2mm you may be ok. But it’ll still be longer.
I have tried belts on hand here from 16.5-18 and didn’t notice much difference.

I would think if the TD is bigger then the belt would need to be a hair wider (and of course longer) and the vario shimmed to match. But ya, not much tho. Maybe 0.5 or 1 mm with a more aggressive angle.

I have the tp 122mm pulley on the axis. Had the athena belt first and that one wasn't long enough make use of the full 122mm. Now i have a stage 6 overrange (for minarelli short case) belt on there and thats just perfect! I have some pics somewhere i think in my build thread.

Did quite some research on belt lenghts studying multiple sources to determine the right mesurements belong to certain belts. Took a gamble on the s6 belt thinking it would be too long...wel decide for yourself...

I would've thought 806 would be a hair too long; I bet the angle allows it to sit deeper and 'shorten' the belt in the pulleys. Did you have to shim the vario?

Is the axis the same shaft to shaft length as the Zuma... I got about 257mm

Is the axis the same shaft to shaft length as the Zuma... I got about 257mm I'm not sure, but I think the axis is really close to the Zuma motor. I want to say it's basically an aerox motor with a drum brake in the rear instead of a disc.

The Zuma is considered a long case. 806mm will not work. I tried the longer belts I have on hand that I thought would be too long and never tried before. 788mm - way too long, 792mm Mitsuboshi (actually 774mm) very good fit but slightly too short, Malossi 6111294 - 779mm slightly too long as it rides just over the edges but usable. I think the true length should be 776mm. Now to find that belt...

Is that a long case?
