Contacted George through Instagram actually, better than calling seems like. As far as the cp 23 carb goes I have to agree 100%. They’re awesome for more mild sport builds like a unported polini contessa or such and a Leo Vince a cp 19 is the perfect carb for most sport builds imo. But yah went back to the 28 pwk within a day.....

Okay so got in the new belt and on to the next problem.... on my way to friends house we’re I can use his air compressor to power my impact drill. On the way there I noticed that the cvt case was making noise my variator nut was coming lose . So I took off the cover and simply hand tighten it seeing as I’m only going four blocks. I put the case cover on with one bolt just to get it started then it starts to rattle so off comes the cover, I knew I was taking a chance by winging it if it wasn’t up a sure steep hill I would have walked it ..... get two blocks and I see my variator face go spinning across the street hit the curb and come back across the street..... long story short I need new guides for the polini variator. I have a good selection off stock variators so a get a good set and my 4 gram sliders I get these parts by riding friends bike back to my house and grabbing them I put on the new belt and ..F#&k ! I sorta stripped the first few threads on the input shaft the rear pulley rides on. The only nut I could get to go over the mil. Before there are still plenty of good threads s a nut that I had stripped some of its threads previously. So it will thread on but not lock in tight I couldn’t resist riding it for a min and the clutch bell stayed on but is loose really loose . I’m thinking off trying to tap on new thread maybe a smaller diameter if have to . Also since this block was up geared by someon else, can anyone let me know if it is possible that only the secondary gears were changed and therefore I can use the stock shaft from another rexy block. thanks 🙏 in advance

I’m having issues with my final drivegearsI spoke with George and he told me that the stage six gears aren’t in exact match and will create an oil leak that’s exactly what I’m experiencing an oil leak from the input shaft seal and my purchase of this block from a person that said it was argued with stage six years read me to believe that this kit must have been used www.scootertuning.ca/en/gears-primary/9000-primary-gear-kit-stage6-14-42.html

The threads on the input shaft may be too damaged to repair and I’m trying to figure out if I need it for gear kit or if I can just get away with primary

Okays so down to the problems who is giving me the shaft, the one that isn’t happy unless there is nuts hugging it tight..... okay so I tried using a new nut that threaded on after I ran the engine with the loose nut so some how I thought just maybe it fixed itself and I’m also a fairy godmother. I rode with my new cut cvt case which I had cut and there was nothing to cover rear pulley at all. It felt tight the first three times I pulled over to feel the nut but I’m n way up the hill I sprung to a conclusion..... So yah my clutch broke ...,

It I wasn’t deterred when they said “ what the fuck r u doing u don’t put that there , your missing this and you got it all wrong” . Just made me smile harder when they get some action. So tonight I decided after trying to cut the thread on the shaft with die and recutting the stripped nut to match still came off this time I used my closed cvt cover I decided some jb weld in the splines of the shaft that the bell lock into jb on the nut and a lot were the bell surface meet the side f nut , it was quick cure kind so I put it on and tighten it after alcohol cleanse next thing I know I’m heading home and it’s been like four hours felt a little better soft heated with tour here to nice feel bolted cover and took a test ride ...... it made it back 🙌🏻🎬🏳️ Images above are of different intake sizes between a 2mm and a 28mm which 30 mm being exhaust port no wonder the 21 wasn’t jamming but for my air cooled re build with a 22ish mm exhaust port will b perfect 👌. Intake and exhaust ports should match in diameter correct?

Please put those pages under the scanner, you're a terrible photographer haha.
But yeah 90's scooter stuff is so cool. They used sometimes kinda unusual parts combos because that was the only thing they had back in the days. But it worked!

Here’s a clear photo of a booster and it’s specs in Italiano you can learn the language by looking at its counterpart spec..... Okay so no onto the issue.... jb weld seems to be holding the clutch and nut on tight now I have been getting this bog/ bark when accelerating used to be after wot for more than a few seconds I would header it now it does it all the time but only when going uphill never downhill and sometimes on flats , I changed the intake back to the naraku so that I could use the pwk and still have a vacuum line to pull in fuel. I also changed the needle in carb from a keihin to the original a9 that. Are with it at first it was running awesome then I had 5e before mentioned clutch nut problem . I am having a hard time figuring out if this bog is fuel or cvt related.

I am seriously contemplating getting a new set of gears so the clutch nut doesn’t have to be jb welded on but don’t know f the drive shaft is art of the secondary or primary or neither also if I can swap out just one or just the input shaft all I know is 5ey are stage 6 & 9.1

Okay so good news what I was sure was a cvt issue is most likely was a fuel issue. So since changing the needle I had mixed results. Good on flats great down hill and terrible uphill. I was told that when a bike runs better downhill than uphill it is usually rich . So with the a-9 needle on the third clip position I raised it to the leanest position. It just got a lot worse . I was going to call it for the night but decided to try the richest position and holy 🐄 ! The thing rides amazing now still think I need to rich n a little maybe go back to a 115 from. 112 mj. Or hook up the power jet. Only other modifications done recently was I changed the cheap silencer to one of a technigas next r which made it a tiny bit quieter but the combo is finding it’s rhythm. Only thing is that I pretty much have to be going downhill to get into full second gear so maybe some heavier sliders currently 4 gram or just richer may do it we will see and I’ll keep you post Ed. Aloha.

Alright so when I mentioned the barking noise, I think I may have finally figured out what it may actually be but not sure if I know how to fix it. I am starting to think that it is missing as in not firing it only ocurs when traveling fast so it’s hard to catch on camera but I’m going to try my best so that someone in this great community can have a chance of telling me what’s going on cuz it seems to be getting worse.

Okay guys a lot has happened since I reported to you guys, . I was car jacked for one. I have since gotten the car back with minimal damage but now is the time I will NEEED my moped again while car is in the shop so if anyone is feeling sorry for me I will take all ur pity and help right now. Back to my moped it shut down slowly when I came to a stop thought it was low compression on the side of the road I changed the plug n everything I could think of. Right b 4 giving up I noticed that the variator was stuck all the way open ounce I pounded the center of it back in n reinstalled the thing started right up. So it was running so so until last week when the thing was acting like it was super rich and would not run good at all unless downhill or after a long straight away to build up slowly. I tried to fix this in my mind it was due to the cvt but at this point idk. So after I drove it no more than a block after adjusting cvt it sat for a day or two then and now I try to start it up no luck. I checked for spark I checked the flywheel and I’m at a loss it sounds like theses symptoms could only be low compression like the ring needs to be replaced or a head gasket if there is anything else that anyone could think of plz lmk. I have tried starting fluid I have changed plugs I can tell you that the spark plugs would come out soaked doesn’t that mean that compression is good?

Wow I got a bit lost in the narrative but hey ho,back to basics ,compression, spark, fuel, you may have had a soft size or a blocked jet, don't,t overrthink it check the basics and let us know.
