I don’t think it’s a blocked jet as I tried two different carburetor s . Checked for spark again with a new plug and spark was real strong I guess my next step will have to be renting a compression tester from auto zone.. how would I know if a soft seizure acurred ? What would be the damages caused by that?

You can,t "think" it,s not a blocked jet or other problem you will have to check. Are you fully assembling the the engine before trying to start it,pay attention to the air box, chin up keep checking.

Well I shattered my wrist..... skateboarding..... not even going that fast what a shame. Well I came to the conclusion that the engine needs to be torn down and replace wring gaskets n such n check for anything problematic. But I can’t do shit with one hand surgery is scheduled for Friday the 15 th so hopefully in like six months ha... ☹️

Hey everyone my arm is close to healed so back to the no start issue, I bought a compression tester for 15 bucks !!! And it seems like my theory of worn ring possible gasket but if that was the problem then I would see a water leak or water leaking into combustion chamber making a lot of smoke I would think 🤔. So compression on the cold engine was 90psi . That’s low I know but what psi am I shooting for with this engine? Overse.? Going to tear it apart soon anyway but I wanna know what compression I am shooting for.thx🔨🔜🧨

So no one can tell me what acceptable compression is💬❓I went back and watched some of Brent’s old instructional videos . So I know that for troubled starting 100 is minimum. I ordered a new ring and gasket set for my bore going to be interesting as I never assembled the bore and don’t know what the inner workings and how the case was cut to accept it....

I don't know exactly what cranking compression you are looking for with this engine setup, but I would expect 150psi anyway. Definitely not 90. Other possibility would be a compression tester not sealing, which is usually involving where it screws into the spark plug threads.

So I can’t get it to start only kick start a close look and I saw what could be a slight gap at the back of the cylinder I kinda figured I would have to open the lid and retourqe the cylinder bolts......also I got a very interesting radiator it has two layers and only one inlet and one outlet could be very mice because of that although could a expansion tank still be used and how?
