Sure sounds like a leak, which could possibly be causing your loss of compression. At times like this, I would start over. Maybe I am crazy, but too many variables cause mass confusion.
ON another note: A "Petcock" is a small valve, spout, or faucet operated by hand, usually used to release pressure or drain fluid. That is what you have. Petcock.
It is not a "favorite weenie" or "best rooster". (Literal) It is also not a "petcot" as written above. That would be a favorite camping bed.
Haha! Sorry for that...I love language and it's use, or uses or misuses. We speak Engrish, Spanglish, Japanglish and some Franco-Germanic-Italian. Ohh, and Thai. We laugh until crying and pee ourselves often. There is a city in northern Thailand named TAK. If I say that wrong it means "hairy balls". (Tak, taak, thak) I learned from both laughter and strange looks. I still do not know which one is correct.

808,that inlet no sealing may be the cause of your troubles and you need to test it is sealed, hate to say but back to basics is best :)when you check the reed valve look in the crank case for excess gas,re do your work ,these engines need every thing right to work.post a picture of your petcock I am sure we can find a cheap one,

OK so after recently having some free time waiting for tools on my other build I decided that I should reinvestigate the mysterious gremlins that shut my 1st watercooled build down.. Let me just recap really quickly bike brand as good as could ever been expected from a noob putting it together however it lost some compression when I rebuilt it with a new ring I was able to get it to start one time and never again rebuilt it again Same thing so it got put away on the shelf for a while.... Well now was a few more years of experience under my belt I started to think that it might have been a spark issueThat was Not allowing this bike to start I rebuilt it againHowever using a stator and magnito off of 8 identicle like a rexie.... Jog clone. So I did this because the previous state or had been damaged when the fly wheel got sheared off so anyways put this thing together check for spark thought I saw some just sprayed it started fluid and it turned over 1st or 2nd Kick. However that apparently was not gonna be so easy as I tried to start it after hooking up the gas tank and an exhaust pipe and was unable to get it to start I also got shocked while trying to start at that time which is kind of weird and I've never had that happen before.. Show I come out here tonight check for spark again and I realized that there is a strong spark but only intermittently maybe one out of every 3 kicksI tried it anyways and on the 2nd kick it started sound a great only problem is my hand that was touching the bear handlebar was electrified and shocking me not letting me let go because of the spasms in stuff it only lasted for a second or so and the motor died I believe right when I pulled my hand off of the bar as if I was grounding the biker something??? Anyways any ideas on what the hell this issue could be I have the stator only hooked up to the Ignition and CDI power lines the 3 wires going to the charging and lighting systems are not hooked up at all what do you guys think is causing this have you ever had this happen to you?

No ,I was going to just leave it at that!!! But here's my (2cents)you have missed/crossed/banjoed the wiring somehow,I know it,s a pain but you need a completely built up scoot for it to run, the theory says you can run the systems seperatly but complete is best,my Yamaha ignition won,t work if the tail light is out??. Geoff thank you sir i do not have the rest of the stator wires plugged in maybe thats it? if that dont work im gunna just habe to save up for a mvt.

So I had gotten my very 1st watercooled minirally back into my to-do list since I was waiting for piasio parts turns out just like I already knew everything on the block 10 out of 10. OK 9 at a 10 There was about 5 threads left for the kicker case to hold on but my rule is as long as you get 3 your G. I actually ended up putting it together but decided to switch the stator out for a nother rexie Ignition since the one I had been using was severely damaged to the point where the headlights would come on and off very Often cause by the key getting worn down letting the magnito spin sort of wildly damaging some of the polls but after I replaced the key lighting was a problem but a mission or starting the bike was not an issue Neither would it die out. But as I'm starting to come around to the basic fact that electrical engineering is vital to a combustion engine and anything above it in terms of a Anything useful and valuable side note I guess I'm a little more open to the fact after I started turning my PC into a mining rig which I gotta say was almost as exhilarating as riding a moped But instead of Adrenalin you get your pleasure from seeing your bit coin wallet grow everyday Out of processing power that you already had anyways back to the Bike that popped my liquid cherry .
I got the bike to start up on the 2nd kick after changing the stator this time and this is a bike that I had not gotten to start up in over a year with replacing rings checking spark although obviously not good enough... So I had the baby running And also along the way was able to add in moloatsi over range And some V force reads that I was able to buy off of Ali express for $35 no ship these Firth not knock off I'm sure of it so I rode it for a couple days after my fabricator extraordinary used my existing frack it to mount this baby completely optimal had to cut literally nothing out of the front panel which I was able to buy in almost pristine condition off of a maiko identical except the nose close down a little bit further so it looks like it's tucked in sick so my friend mounted the bracket and made is custom copper hard lines coming off the radiator that went to the 2 small holes at the bottom of the front panel after that it's all rubber tubing On that note this is such a good long lesson I must have to say this Is tubing continued
