Yesterday, I screwd up my 2nd fuel tank, that I had for the Baotian project. I tried to weld an hose nipple under the tank. It did not go so well, so I did cut off the hole thing and tried to weld it to another tank, that I had. I did screw up that thank too, because the fuel tank metal is so thin, that I burned through the tank, after that it was leaking few places near the weld. So I had a idea to weld an peace of metal, to strengthen the welded area. That attempt made the tank situation even worse, the tank was still leaking.
I have a 3rd fuel tank too in the garage, but it is suitable for the BT50QT-9 model. In my country, there is lack of parts for those Chinese scooters like BT49qt-20 and BT50QT-9. If Im lucky, then I might find something in Germany (Scooter-Attack) etc. Option 2 is find another donor scoot.
I was thinking and one thought came into mind - I might make a template, draw it to metal, cut the peaces and weld it together, like I made the Battery box. I have a second battery box too, but I used a template to make it. That one is still not welded up.
But, there is some good news too, what makes me smile. I made contact to the MotoGadget crew and they apologized for the waiting time. I ordered those things (10th november 2021): 4x mo.blaze LED turn signals, M-Button and mo.relay+ for the 4 turn signals. The reason for the delay was, that people were sick. Yesterday I got a email, with the bill, that they send out, when the order is shipped.

I had a nice surprise today. I went to get new work clothes and when I came back to home, there was a missed call and message from FedEx guy on my phone. I called him back and he said his: "Are you home right now? I will be there in 30 seconds!" I said to him, ok, I wait outside then. The stuff from Germany (Motogadget) arrived to me. 1. 4x Mo.blaze LED turn signals. 2. M-Button. 3. Mo.relay+ for the turn signals.

Today I finished my night shift at 8am. After that I went and brought a scissor jack, went to garage and made a lift. Also, I placed second coat of fiberglass to the bottom of fuel tank. For safety, I added the stand, what came with the project scoot to the rear. I need to make a new one or modify that one. Next time, I hope to start wiring the scoot and Motogadget M-Unit maybe.

Last time, I finished the metal work of the under seat electronics apartment. I also made a braket for the ignition key, but right now, Im thinking, where to put it. Here is a Part 7 of the Project Street-Wolf:

Because, working in my garage with only +2 degrees celsius, I took M-Unit and the wiring kit home, where is +17 degrees celsius. Big 15 degree difference while working. I do not want to get cold. I made this at home. Now it is little bit simpler, to connect and add wiring to the scoot:
