I'm not in disagreement, actually. I'll even go along with the evaluation of "cute in an ugly sort of way".
Plus I do prefer function over style. If I have to choose just one, anyway.
And I'm a big fan of cargo capacity. I've been known to over-do that. I once mounted hard-sided Harley saddlebags, plus frame, on a pedal bicycle. (That didn't last long. Though nicely functional, they were very clumsy. And heavy.)
The C3 obviously has nice cargo room. And that even brings it into the 'good looking' category in that respect.
Yes. I would even be happy to have one.

Sweet it runs, can you ditch that outer CV cover it would save taking the kick start lever off.

Like Geoff said get rid of that black cvt cover. It just traps extra heat .
Keep the videos coming .

I was tired of monkeying around with the replacement Zuma carburetor (jetting too big, float not adjustable and overfilling) so I grabbed a Minarelli clone carb, a matching throttle cable (removed the oil pump cable from the split) and she fired up on the first kick.
This thing feels GREAT! Everything works (except that back busted turn signal) and it even does wheelies stock. Not the best or coolest wheelie but it did!

BBK in the future will help the wheelies

Although you guys carry the Polini stuff I think it would be cool to to a full build with as much SSP-G brand parts as you can, just to show what’s capable with non Polini, Malossi, Stage6 etc parts.

Can't say I recall hearing much about HOCA pipes over the years. Could see how that does. Looks like there's a Yasuni R on the shelf and if you sell those then maybe you could cheat later and get a C16 with some cylinder adjusting (tight squish, 7-8:1 CCR, 190/130 for example). ...Or build a Taiwan 103cc. Not so practical, but I'd like to see you have a reason to source 45mm stroker cranks to sell again.

Their pipes are not bad for the money, but also not like Yasuni or anything. We have easy access to C16's, just not lots of demand from the dealers right now. I'd love a big Taiwan build, that seems like fun but we'd have to do a production run on those 45's, and I'm not sure what we'd do with 200 of those bad boys... Matt

I was totally planning on doing a "house build" with as much of our parts as possible (:
Personally I'm getting the ceramic 7 port Hoca kit for my Eton Matrix (now there's only 1 left in stock!), I may just use the cast iron kit for the Zuma. Depends on how much of an allowance the boss gives, realistically. I think the cast iron kit will do just fine, paired with the Hoca pipe and a 19mm OKO carb with a powerjet.
The plan is not an all out speed machine, but something that lifts the front tire when ya want it to and still can smoothly cruise to the corner store for a beer (wait, I mean lunch).
Do you guys like the powerjet carbs, or nah? I never messed with them, and I'm curious as if it'll be better for city riding and long WOT pulls.

I loved it for long WOT pulls. I had to actually set my main jet at approximately ⅞ throttle. Because it felt like the power jet came online from ⅞-full throttle. I liked the power jet for peace of mind at WOT. The way i had it tuned, my WOT temperature was lower than my temp at ¾ throttle. It was a headache to tune at first because i didn't have an understanding if the power jet's function.

So, as some of you know we've been in the process of moving to and setting up a new warehouse for the last 2 weeks, and prepping for the move long before that, so most of our projects have been put on hold. One of the interesting points is that in our new location, nowhere in my commute do I need to actually break 40 mph... which got me thinking about this Zuma and what I want to do with it.
Here's what I'm thinking: I'm going to keep the bore stock, fit a very mild non-chambered street pipe (maybe Naraku Traffic, don't want to wake the neighbors), the SSP-G Performance variator (which really is a Taiwanese Malossi Multivar clone), our standard Chinarelli 19mm carb (it's surprisingly good), suspension, chonky tires, maybe a few other bits and bobs... and then I'mma ride the wheels off of it. Ideally I'll see close to stock reliability, and fuel consumption should remain friendly as well. I want a bike that's ready to go whenever, rides easy and isn't temperamental or needy. I also want to concentrate on decent, but relatively affordable parts, so mostly Taiwanese. I want what I do to be easily accessible to anyone who picks up a Bugeye 2t Zuma. Since anything over 40 mph is bonus land, it'll be neat to see where we end up.
Thoughts?
I'll post the build list as I assemble it.
And then I can start working on the Vesla. I'll have a GickSpeed built 180cc PX engine up for grabs soon if anyone's looking.
