Here's a short vid of her idling, I was heat cycling it. Gotta mess with the needle and possible upjet a bit more.
I've got a mild sputter at 1/4 throttle. And again at 9k rpm wide open. I did however watch it jump to 11k on takeoff Got to get another temp sensor ring and really wish I had a wideband to tune it better.

Pulled the plug and it's been running pig rich. Tried leaning the needle and it run somewhat better. Still breaks up at wot. Really think my issues is due to wet weather and no air box. I've got a foam filter coming, since everything I got here is too small and I epicly failed with not getting the adapter when I ordered the carb.

Well I switched back to my stock long intake. I believe the angle of which the carb dangles with the short intake is to far up,in turn is allowing the float to stay open. I may lose some high rpm power but at least it will idle and doesn't spit as much fuel spray out the mouth when I open the throttle as it has been.
Also I've got to reset my oil cable. The pump opens before the slide does. Thinking that's part of my issues, but if it's trying to put in more oil then fuel that can't be good. Also that would explain the black sooty plug and why it acts like it goes lean then super rich and back again

Well it's started cutting off as the pipe hits and pop's threw the exhaust. Ive found a stripped bolt hole for the reed block and the intake is touching the subframe. I'm guessing it's because of the short shock cause I don't remember anything touching before I lowered it.
An on another note, it was putting in a bit touch to much oil. I kicked it over a couple times and a grease like substance spit out

Yeah man, you have to watch the angle of the dangle!

Another stock type clutch is on its way. 112mm universal parts whole converter(pulley, springs, bell). Looks to have a red contra installed in the pictures on ebay. More than likely I will swap that for the white malossi contra I have. Because it seems like anytime I've used a red contra all I do is bust belts

Think I've got Becky figured. Think the carb is a little too big, but I've got it to rev pretty well. I'm running the 40 pilot,102 main and the needle is in the leanest notch. Now I'm keeping in mind that these motors seem to run better with the CVT took apart like mind is currently. I will take vid for you all.
I am wanting to think that the broken clutch is part of the issue with it just bogging out and shutting down, because it was happening at about the point the CVT should have been shifting, and with one of the arms being broke it cause an massive amount of drag and the engine just don't have the torque to overcome it. Now I could be wrong but that added into the fact it could be a bit rich on WOT(for this China "midrace") was making it choke out. And the air leak I had at the reeds wasn't helping anything

Nice work Just did a quick read on Becky I am now subscribed to keep track of your progress.
I have a yasuni r on the shelf and new carb so it is good to see some recent results from another builder.

Got my new clutch/tc today. It's got "stock" springs in it. So gonna get ready and put the malossi contra and thinking about using the soft black clutch springs again.
