I know it's not super fast, but from the pics looks halfway decent and maybe worth doing something with (at least parting out). What can you guys tell me about them? I'm not very familiar with Honda scoots. I believe this is the slow version of the Elite (with a less than ideal CVT being the cause), but may make for a fun project or at least a couple bucks in my pocket. What do people usually do with them? Engine swaps, just ride em?    |

Kenho21 An Elite S is a great go fast scooter. It has the AF-16 engine in it and those scoots are so light they can't help but be fast. And it looks to be the purple one. You have a great scoot there. There are a lot of threads on the AF-16 engine and the Elite on here.

I haven't seen it yet and won't until Sunday because we're going away for the weekend and leaving right from work, but I'll get a chance to check it out then.
From what I'm seeing, it's the speed restricted version, so may or may not require some derestrcting. At any rate, I will keep build more of a budget build since I just blew the bank on my Zuma and that doesn't seem like it will be much of a problem. Parts for these can be had pretty cheap on Scooter Tuning!
And yeah, I lie the purple. Pretty dope.

How much do you have to suck to push a decent Honda 2T scoot into a dumpster? On a brighter note... How cool do you have to be to rescue one? Your girl is definitely a keeper.  Anyway, the others here know a whole lot more about the Honda engines than I do so I just wanted to say congrats on that find. |

Yeah, she's pretty badass. She mostly rides the Jog. She'd never ridden anything with two wheels and a motor before that and got on and was flying by me at like 40 mph in the parking lot! hahaa She handles the scoots better than a lot of dudes I've seen try to ride one. And she doesn't look like a dude so that's a win. Also a PhD Neural Engineer, so can help me with the maths as well lol. |
