BIG UPDATE: Putt the whole engine together, everything is torqued to spec from the repair manual and Hondaond used on every gasket ! Received my clear CVT cover , made by Ariete (love this thing) . Put the engine on the frame, install the radiators and all the hoses on the Red Malaguti. Connected everything , except the exhaust, rear brake and the wheel . Tomorrow i will cut thru the front top plastic to make room for the rear brake pump cylinder. Right before i left the shop (the engine was put together for 4-5 hours at the time) kicked it once just for the heck of it, fire right up , just for a split sec and then i shut it off. For now its with Malossi 7g rollers since they came with the variator, but it will be good for breaking period, and white small springs on the Stage6 clutch instead of the red ones. I am sorry about the pictures , but once me and my buddy start working we don't really stop for pictures lol. Here is some tho. I will quote that, because its the last post on the 1st page and its a "new" post , so if people don't click on the "new" icon next to the topic they won't see it !

That clear CVT cover is different. Never seen one before. 👍 I wonder how it will look when you get lots of belt dust in there? Just have to periodically clean it I guess.

Its my birthday today so i work only like 2 hours on it, put the Temp gauge , fill up with coolant and bled the system, charged the battery, she rides very good , obviously i will need to do some fine tuning once i am pass the breaking period , i will do about 200-250 miles , or a few heat cycles. Here is some short videos:

Update ! Some of you may know i had another post where i had noise in my engine which i tough its coming from my exhaust, after checking everything couple times , i put the engine apart, everything inside look perfect, in the thread with the exhaust some members of the forum suggested that i might be my ring gap, since i never check it, after opening the engine i measure it and it was .008mm perfect ! After further inspection i found this :
There is excessive play in the rod (left and right) and its the only thing i found that would make this noise, i contacted the company that i purchased the crank from but they are in Germany and right now customer service takes forever due to the Corona Virus ... i know they will solve the problem one way or the other but i didn't wanted to wait so i have the following parts coming by Saturday and i should be trying to put that thing back together ... hopefully for last time , i will do pressure check since i didn't last time ... yeah i know .. so here is the new parts:
Crankshaft Athena Racing HPC 10mm Minarelli Horizontal Crankshaft bearing Stage6 HQ Minarelli Drive belt Athena Racing Minarelli Long 760mm lets try to get this top speed lol Carburetor Naraku 21mm PHBG i was running 17.5 until know , because thats what came with the donor bike ... i did a big research and found a guy comparing the Naraku PHBG and the Dellorto one , he went so far as doing 0-30 , 0-40 with both carbs on same bike , no difference at all, $70 price difference tho lol. New gasket set for the Street Race LC KIT Main Jet Set Stage6 Dellorto 5mm - Jet Size : 5mm 10 pieces 88- 110 I ordered also brand new piston, since mine had burn marks under the rings, i think i will still reuse it but just to have a spare one. Expect updates soon with pictures.
