Malaguti F12 LC Stage 6 StreetRacce 70cc

Hi everyone, my name is Kristian. I will give you a little information about myself . I am currently working at a Scooter Shop , i won't mention any names, i am originally from Europe where we have all kind of variety of 2 stroke minarelli engine based scooters. I used to own Yamaha Aerox , and a Yamaha Neos. Since i live in a US (its been a while now) i owned a Aprila Rally minerelli and a TGB Bullet. I just got my hands on 2 Malaguti's F12. One of them is a RED Ducatti replica AC with rear drum brake with only 600 miles its 2002, unfortunately it has been dropped but i hope to be able to repair the damages and bring it back to perfect condition. The second one is the updated body style with the longer seat and rear passenger handles under the seat , its 2004 LC 2 disc brakes, its kinda beat up with 3000 miles on it, currently has from its previous owner Polini Sport with TK Exhaust and 17.5mm Dellorto carburator. Back home i had build my Yamaha Neos with similar set up so i am gonna try to do it again. I will put the a list of all the parts i had ordered 2 days ago straight from Germany so it will take like 1-2 weeks. Since the place i am working at its seasonal we are currently closed and i have access to the workshop, the only issue is that there is brand new scooters in boxes ready to be put together before i can even think to start putting my scooters apart, simply because there is no room. I am hoping to get the parts by the end of the month and to start the project as soon as possible. 

Project goal: 
Take the disc brake minarelli case from the newer malaguti , take the radiators and the water pump assembly , take the rear disc brake and rim . All these parts will be installed on the red scooter since its in very good condition having only 600 miles. When i am done with that i will take the 600 mile AC engine from the red one and put it on the gray one, that way i still have 2 perfectly running bikes. I can a street race on my aerox. It's a great kit for the street. Should go well with the Yasuni pipe.

Here is today's update . Me and my friend Matthew put the donor bike apart. While he was taking the radiators and the expansion tank from the front of the bike, i was taking the complete engine out. Once we got everything out, we started to disassemble the cases, once we put all the bolts and parts in Ziplock bags, we started cleaning all the parts. From this case i will be reusing only the stator,magneto,final gears and electric parts, everything else will be brand new.We started cleaning and its coming pretty good, my friend Max brought us some boat aluminum cleaner and it definitely doing its job,it got pretty late so i will continue tomorrow. We did all this in a matter of 2 and a half hours, just started late lol. Tomorrow i will be cleaning the radiators , check if i can reuse the water hoses and go from there.
Here are some pictures, it will be cold 2-3 days so hopefully that doesn't slow down the project.

What aluminum boat cleaner/solvent did you use ?
That looks close to brand new .

Update: Finished cleaning the cases, they came out great, i will post a picture of the aluminum cleaner that i used, cleaned up all the coolant components , the radiator cross over pipe was disgusting so i cleaned it and i sprayed it black. The donor bike (Gray Gutti) got the 600mile AC engine with the rear drum brake and its running and ready to go! I wanted to finish with it, that way i don't need to go back at it once i have the red beast ready. Tomorrow or Saturday i will be probably putting the engine together. Stay tuned !

I use automotive wheel acid to clean aluminum but I may have to try this boat cleaner! looks great!

Are you going to swap the front wheels too? Since 1 is sliver and the other is black.

I will be powder coating the rear wheel later on. I want to be done with the engine and everything else, and then i will take the wheel to the painter. The only reason i am taking the silver one for the back, is because its supports disc brake.

BIG UPDATE: Putt the whole engine together, everything is torqued to spec from the repair manual and Hondaond used on every gasket ! Received my clear CVT cover , made by Ariete (love this thing) . Put the engine on the frame, install the radiators and all the hoses on the Red Malaguti. Connected everything , except the exhaust, rear brake and the wheel . Tomorrow i will cut thru the front top plastic to make room for the rear brake pump cylinder. Right before i left the shop (the engine was put together for 4-5 hours at the time) kicked it once just for the heck of it, fire right up , just for a split sec and then i shut it off. For now its with Malossi 7g rollers since they came with the variator, but it will be good for breaking period, and white small springs on the Stage6 clutch instead of the red ones. I am sorry about the pictures , but once me and my buddy start working we don't really stop for pictures lol. Here is some tho.
