Had to GET a haircut on the black market. Censored to protect the criminal underworld. Fur like that should go to a dog groomer

Going to work in the RICU (COVID ICU) today at Michigan Medicine. This will be interesting.

One hour in and I can tell you with certainty that the numbers represented on the internet are not accurate. We can’t keep up. Because of HIPPA, I can’t say much, but I can say that it’s completely out of control. This is just wild.

We've closed down two ICUs and three regular units to try and accommodate RICU patients and we're still very, very short. We've even doubled up patients in single rooms. They're talking about temporarily using student dorm rooms as patient rooms. They've already cleared out dorms in preparation. This is all happening at an institution with over 1,000 patient beds. Look at the numbers for Michigan. Every hospital in the state is like this right now. That numbers are scary.

Today was the first day that I've gone out and rode through a larger town for a while. The doctors and dentists are all closed up... and everywhere else it looks mostly normal to me. Target, Wal-Mart, every grocery store were packed. Then I rode by Lowe's and it was packed. I don't think people are paying much attention to the warnings here. I also heard that 14,000RPM and wheelies scare the virus away (not just 2T smoke) so I tried to do my part as a true patriot. I don't know that my fellow citizens appreciated it all that much tough. Seriously, thanks for the updates from the inside Ken.

I,m in serious lockdown mode,we are only allowed out to shop for food (mostly beers ) exercise and travel to work, when your out there must be 2 meters between you and anyone else, this is a scary virus, sadly some people think they are immune (or to stupid to see what's happening ) so just ignore the advice given.I ave delivered to 27 separate private houses today and must say that all of them were polite and understanding as I put the parcel just on the property and ran away from them.To a man all sh???t scared.I am on the edge of a decision as to continue working or just throw the yellow towel in and rough it out with meagre cash in the bank.I have 20 days holidays I can use for first absence but I may hold off another week till the numbers rise in my area, but if you can hide from this I would.

Lost my job at the gas station. My kids started school online. Chickens have gotten aggresive and are taking over tourist spots.

As of today 302 confirmed cases and 7 deaths from it here in Kentucky. Still no confirmed cases in my county, but its near by.
People are in two camps here. Either they are trying to be safe, and practice good distancing, or they believe, however false, that this is some BS scam, or is the flu.
My Boss is on nightly dialysis so is compromised, he's also 77 so doubly screwed if he gets it. However, the farm has been deemed essential, as its a pretty decent piece if this county's produce production. Honestly, I'm not sure we will be able to sell anything we grow, but we are still marching forward. Well, I am. I try to avoid him. With the untimely demise of his Kubota, he isn't able to get around on the place tis well, so I'm alone most the time.
I've been doing all of their shopping, my shopping, and that of my aunt and uncle. The grocery stores aren't as packed as they were last week but they are still close to empty of most things. Been two weeks since I've seen bottled water at the local market, but there is plenty of TP. Strict limits in all meat, hygiene, milk, eggs, formula and diapers.

Really hoping that stimulus package passes. This is why we pay taxes.

I’m on total lockdown too and if the county didn’t tell me to do it I do it myself. I mean I’m not going outside for the next two months unless I’m trying to get something like food or something like that. I’m lucky because both me and my wife work from home already and we have our jobs for now. Our local supermarket chain is kind of prepared for natural disasters so they’re kind of ready for the rushes and all that kind of stuff. Things still sell out but they do a good job of restocking. You order online and then, if you can get a pickup time (big IF) you pull into the lot, text them what space you are in and pop your trunk. They load it and shut it. I've heard they are converting most of their parking to that so they can handle more people at once.

Missed my library by 1 day!! So I dug out an old book (1930) my wife bought as a lark. It's kinda fun reading about class prejudices in that period in England. Haven't figured out yet if the author (Somerset Maughm) is serious or taking a comic swipe at it. I've tried one audiobook and found it to be terrifying. I hope I don't have to resort to on line books. That is just plain wrong.

And have not read from a book for about 3 years. The night mode is great. Don't have to have a lamp on and disturb my wife, when she's asleep.
