That break did the trick. Came back with a clear head and found the problem and no one needed to be called names. lol I know and got to see three awesome movies i still like to call people names tho :lol2: I watched and highly recommend Everything must go (sort of a drama with a good message) will ferrel stars The entitled (that movie has a older cast, ray liotta, victor garber, and will rock you in the end!) The count of monte cristo (an incredible perfromance by jim caviezel and cast, i loved thatm ovie from beginning to end!) new gears on the way

Everything must go (sort of a drama with a good message) will ferrel stars I watched that a couple of weeks ago. Not at all what I expected when I rented a Will Ferrel movie, but not bad. We're gonna turn your thread into a movie critique now.

I'll have to check the map again sometime. I think you skipped by the eastern shore of MD so I'd probably be a minimum of an hour away from your route. EDIT : I just looked. You do hit the eastern shore, but basically DE and VA. You're about an hour on the opposite side of where I thought you were. I never pay attention to what's out anymore, that's how I know I'm getting old. I just flip to the movies on demand channel on cable and see what looks good.

after speaking in depth with a member of this forum on the phone (thanks noah) i have come to understand this fuel gauge issue and he has sent me to do some home work which i will do once the piss poor weather subsides tomorrow i hope I include another electrical diagram of the phantom from vento (remember mine is a baja but noah and i believe the layouts to be similiar) I have hopefully correctly laid out the path of the two wires we know about, im not 100% sure what color in that schematic or path the thrid wire takes IF ANYONE has a baja sc 150 electrical schematic feel free to share I called baja but they acted like they had no idea what i was talking about!

just a quick update everyone
I took big red out for a speed test after the following modifications
Hoca 14 Gram Rollers Hoca 15-36 Gears
She ran 71 MPH at just over 5 grand on the rpm, she has lots more powern ow, a bit slower on takeoff but she will do as is,
ok thats all i have for now, the story how this all finally happened wont come till a later date,
were doing another 200 mile ride tomorrow

If I were doing that speed at 5000RPM, and it's sluggish, I think I'd have to try the 12g rollers again or perhaps a mix of the 2 to make 13g. Excellent result though.

ride got cancelled, tooled around town, didnt get passed by anyone today lol
she is a little slow on takeoff but im guessing that is the tradeoff for the top end increase
someone told me if i was to put the bbk in her (59 mm) and stroker crank she would be a racing machine!

If I were going to go to the lengths of building a stroker, I'd go with a bigger bore than that. The cases would need to be machined, but they'd be apart anyway to fit the crank. Not sure any of that is a great idea for something you wanna do this trip on.

yea you should do a 67mm kit before you go...just buy a GY6B case and you will be fine. only $2000 for the complete kit. Also you can add turbo and NOS to get there quicker.
