After Dialing in the Clutch I Worked on the Variator . To match better to the Next R I bought a Malossi Torsion Controller . It Just helps keep the Contra spring from Binding But also does Take the Tension up a Notch. This allowed me to use the White Contra to keep the Belt from Slipping. I feel that anything above Just enough tension on the Contra in a Street daily Rider Build is just extra Heat and wear and tear on the Belt. Racers want the downshifting of the Higher Tension Contra's for coming out of corners . Here are My Tuning results as You can see My Butt Dyno decided that The 5 grams were to light and got me close to the same topend as 6 and 5.5 but it was out of the powerband at the top . Wasted Rpms for no extra speed . The 6 grams got me the top end but acceleration was lower than 5.5 grams . I just did a quick run with my gps to give me speeds on the same road in both directions 53ish one way 55ish the other All 3 of these weights worked When I hit the throttle wide open the rpms held steady all the way up. The next step is I check for full belt travel on the 5.5 grams By Taking a sharpie marker and running a mark from the inner edge of the variator to outer edge . Go Full Blast down the Road and see what is left .I am getting under a # 2 pencil lead size which is 2 mm on both Inner and Outer Edge . That is what I shoot for .

It is a Little Throatier than The Malossi Wild Lion . It is Like the Yasuni R compared to the Next R . My Kids could definetly tell that I had Changed To the Yasuni when I came home . My 12 year old son Loves that Yasuni sound .

I have the same TK pipe on my vertical blue Kymco ZX I love it, but it is definitely on the loud side. Probably as loud as any full pipe I have tried.

That’s a nice sounding pipe. Price is right too as long as it’s a decent performer.
What language is that in the video title Zino?

Its a Half wave Street pipe low 9s it will peak out at with a wide powerband . That would be German . I have been reading alot of European sites over the Years Google Translate is amazing . I never posted on any just sucked up Info on tuning. Tuning Theory in Europe has its Differences . They Highly Port alot of Sport kits so they can run Hotter Pipes . Malossi Sport paired to a Yasuni C16 is a combo you see often Dr 70 ported out so it outperforms its more expensive brother Top Performance Trophy Polini Contessa ported to the Corsa .

So I ran That Set Up For a Year . Malossi Sport ,Tecnigas Next R ,Polini Variator ,Malossi Delta Clutch Scootertuning just had to have another Black Friday Sale . And the Yasuni R and A Stage 6 19mm Dellorto Carb Malossi Variator some Jets and Other Odds and Ends on the way for This years up grades. I took a Brand New Athena Sport Kit in Trade for me helping a buddy out Last fall. So I planned on swapping to Athena the Yasuni R Malossi Variator and then adding the Carb. Targetting a Set Up that still should live around 10 k rpms or under.

Overrange 1/2 price Blow Out Deal at Parts for Scooters . Quite a few of us were playing the Malossi Furia Overrange Lottery They only had one . I did not win that one . I came Across this Thread 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/24543/top-performance-td-belt-lengthI Installed this just Last Month . It Kicks Harder at takeoff with the lower gearing If you already have kitted and piped and thrown on gears this would be a next mod If you want the budget overange pick up these parts . I picked all these up at Dynoscooter . malossi variator part 5177075 ,malossi fan 617152,malossi shim kit 812036 ,top performance torque driver polini belt 248.041 The polini belt after properly shimmed left less than 2 mm on the outer edge front pulley and hit rock bottom on the inner edge . By doing this you go from stock pulleys of 93 mm on front and 115 mm on back to the malossi at 97 mm on front to 122 mm with the top performance pulley . Going from the Polini Variator to The Malossi Variator was a push as far as top speed .

Did Not have Time Yet To Fully Build Up the Zuma had to Get My Vino Kitted . I had to get the Yasuni R on . The Yasuni Power Band is wider so I just slapped it on the trans tune works as is the way it was set up . My Son Loves the sound It definetely is Throatier than the Next R . They can hear me coming from a block away . The Next R revved to as high 9400-9500 with the Malossi Kit The Yasuni is hitting 9800-9900 So my Mph are up about a mile or so to 55 plus.

When I changed from the next R, my slider came with. To a Yasuni R, it was about 5MPH faster on top end. But pulled so much better everywhere.

I havent Gpsed the Yasuni R it yet so I might be faster up top. I agree It is snappier all the way through the REV Range . I just guessed based on Rpm. The US Speedometer for the Zuma stop at 40 Mph and It buries at 50 Mph . It is Raining the next few days ,So It feel like time to put on the Athena on.

Alot of Guys will paint thee exhaust with VHT paint for Rust Prevention. Here is another Option Just buy some MOP N Glo and Brush It on Regularily . The Heat of the exhaust Turns the layer of Mop N Glo a Bronze Color .

I had no idea you were German Zino. Explains some of your expertise. Europeans have it good for scoot stuff. My family is from Idar-Oberstein.
