Looking to replace the stator side seal. It was going to easy using the 17x1 flywheel puller and a little WD40 on the stator nuts . This Last Screw is going to need some time for the wd40 to penetrate maybe heat . I really hate the soft screws yamaha uses on these scoots . I usually swap them out for allen heads . Do you have a hand impact driver? Those things work miracles on screws like that. I swap everything for socket head usually.

Never found an easier way. Still don't like doing it. I actually brought a seal driver a while ago. Never thought I would, but it seats them at the correct depth. No guessing. where did you find one as i have been looking but not seen any around

Just a money saving measure. Annoying as the older stuff has a proper allen head bolt.

Used Heat and WD40 No luck So I just used the extractor I am replacing the bolts tonight have to go to the store for the right length everything I have is way to long. So my Cylinder swap has got alot more involved replacing seals to fix the air leak, decking heads to get better squish . A half day project becomes a whole weekend project .

That is a pretty sweet tool for installing Crank seals . I've used a pvc tube in the past . That is way quicker . I wonder if you could fashion one out out a dowel of wood . With the proper measurements

A buddy has a machine shop so I had him help deck the head .It would have taken along time to get .5 mm off the head and have it be right using figure 8 s on emory cloth on glass top table . He let my son see his shop and take alook around while he spun off .45 mm. Before emory cloth

After a bunch of Figure 8's to get it smoothed out . I di ckean up the microscratches with some scotch brite pad work. Ended Up using the second thinnest mestal spacer with copper spray and the head with just copper spray . I wanted to push this down below 1 mm squish . I will measure it up after 24 hours curing time on the copper spray.

I forgot to take pictures of the scotch brighted head and it all copper sprayed up . I Just got home from the machine shop . And wanted to get this thing buttoned up. One other step I like to do is after all those figure 8's . Is wash it up in a bucket of dish soap and bucket of water to get rid of all the aluminum dust before installing . That polini head is the way to go to get your squish down below 1 and have your ports at the ideal position. I had to shoot for below 1mm and give up a little on the port timing . I would have increased squish to 1.1 or more after decking the head to get the transfer to match with the piston

Kenho what are you peaking out fro rpms with your Yasuni R and Athena set up ?
I would expect my since port timing is lower than yours I probably wont hit as high a peak rpm mine power band will just start lower .

Kenho what are you peaking out fro rpms with your Yasuni R and Athena set up ? I would expect my since port timing is lower than yours I probably wont hit as high a peak rpm mine power band will just start lower . So as of right now, I'm running 5.75gr rollers, and a 0.30mm drive boss shim. I like the tune and I think I'm close to maxing out my mph via belt travel and rpm, but I may drop down to 5.5gr rollers to see if I can get a few more rpm and mph. I'm getting 61mph GPS tucked on flat ground with no wind at ~10,200rpm and at ~230F. I'm wondering if 5.5gr or something llwer will get me a few hundred more rpm/mph...

I do see rpm get up to ~10,300rpm+ at times too, but never past ~10,500rpm.
And keep in mind that all of my numbers are kind of estimates because my gauge only displays rpm in incremental bars and each bar is 200rpm. I have a yellow light come on at 10,300rpm and a red light at 10,600rpm though. I've never seen the red light.
