Just an update on things! Never got the rpms right the with mvt and Stage6 gauge after trying everything. I ordered a basic temp and rpm from Amazon and hopefully that will fix the problem.
Also I have a steel overrange malossi kit ready to go back in the vino so since on a higher rpm setup!
I’ve been out of it for the past week as I got the rona but hopefully soon will be back at it again! I can’t wait to do some videos of the new setup. It’s coming along very nicely

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Should have it well sorted by the time riding season is here.

Some more minor additions for the vino! Going to try out another basic temp and rpm gauge to see if this will fix the rpm reading issue with the mvt. Also some well needed rollers! Let the tuning begin. Kinda. Rough tuning for now, fine tuning when it warms up.

I have used a temp and tach meter that looks exactly the same cost me like 25 bucks on Amazon. It does burn through a watch battery or two every riding season.
I ran them side by side with the trail tech and saw the same temps within 0-5 degree and rpms within 0-50 or so so I would grade them as a accurate knockoff .

Alright ladies and gents. Got the vino out today on the first good day of the year.....all I can say is WOW. The needle moves!!! Wraps around and hits the 0 in no time and keeps going. Well over 70 😎 I blew a head gasket so I’m waiting on a new one and going to resume everything with some insurance this time. Torquing and re torquing I guess wasn’t enough.
Stay tuned! It’s just the beginning.

Update! Swapped out the manual pump for a malossi electric pump. Also swapped the city 16 which is an awesome pipe for a c21. Full send.
so far good progress! I’ll be upgrading the carb to a 21mm. From the 19 for some more fuel and air. I can say just by testing the new pipe, I had to go down in rollers just to get it in the pipe but it’s a dangerous vino. I’m going to be tuning and posting up a video soon! Check out my YouTube channel “Gutiwarrior” for all my latest videos and testing.

It’s just the beginning. Just be careful on pegging the needle against the 0 stop pin. I used to peg my speedometer needle against the clear cover on my Chinarelli. Over time, the speedo stopped working. After weeks of trouble shooting, i found that the tabs that drive the speedo gear in the front wheel was destroyed. Hence, non working speedometer after that.

Haha if I keep going over or it messes up I’ll remove the speedo gear and cable and call it a day.
