here are some pipes I run the malossi wild lion and like it alot it pairs well with a sport bbk like your polini . It gives great take off and a few miles per hour up top. The polini pipe is a copy alot of pipes are made and then rebadged by some one else . They are just a notch louder than stock . The Stage 6 street gets good reviews it has a little throatier sound. All of these pipes would keep you low 9s for Rpms so are very Crank friendly . www.scootertuning.ca/en/14-exhaust-systems

On the polini high speed you can get travel down to 2mm . I have run that and the malossi multi var. Take the shim out of the variator to test if you get better travel. If you do then get a vaiator shim kit so you can dial in for best take off . Gears on the zumas are not hard to do . As long as you no some one with a hydraulic press I got mine pressed in for a 12 pack of coors light and a 12 pack of mountain dew . They add about 6-8 mph to your top end . You will still have plenty of wheelie power. here is the gear swap in pictures www.zumasrus.com/zdox/ztip10.html

That's not bad travel. 😁 Gears would help. After about 20MPH to variator is fully out and only an increase in revs gets a higher top speed. Without a sports pipe that revs higher. Gears would help. The stage 6 is supposedly the best performance stealth pipe. But is also the most expensive.

So zino the only thing needing pressing into the shaft is the bearing? The gear just slides on?

The way I did it is I went for a good long half hour ride . Then I unbolted the Gear Cover while it was still warm . A couple Raps with a rubber hammer and it popped out . I bought a brand new bearing and had that pressed into the bearing and case by the Shop. While they pressed the bearing. Some guys stick the shaft in the freezer and warm the bearing in the oven and Tap it on with PVC.

? I totally gapped out and forgot to attach the rpm and head temp gauge when I had the bike apart. Is there anyway to even get access to the plug and wire without full teardown. Seems crazy if you can't service your plug??

Those prebugs are alot more work to get too the spark plug . No real easy solution . Just treat yourself to a cold one afterwards .

On mine there is a little hatch in the bucket under the seat. It's held with a screw. Just big enough to change the plug.

How much faster on the top end are you with the pipe . I'm not certain 100% yet but the guidelines u set out are very close. I'd say another 3 to 4 mph. I can do 85km\h on speedo and my phone says 80kms. Your the man Zino thanks for all your help. Any recommendations on the piaggio?
