As your polini kit loosens up over the next 500 miles . You will pick up a couple more miles up top those cast iron kits need some time to run in. Those street pipes are fun paired with a kit When you slam on the throttle when the light turns green and just spin away. Making a slow scoot fast is a blast .
Aeroxbud will have to help with the piaggio 4 strokes are expensive to make faster .

I have just added a Yasuni Z to my typhoon. Made a massive difference. The reason I went with the Z, and not the R, is I wanted more power down low. The pull away was very poor. Dangerous even. As I come out of work I have to go over a bridge. Before it was going down to 20mph. Now 35! 👍

And yes the delay and take off as well as acceleration on even the slightest incline or rough surface is terrible. 3 seconds or so just to get moving then about 6 more seconds to get to 30kms and that's max with me on it on any type of hill. So a pipe makes a difference on 4 stroke too does it? Hmmm kewl. Could you possibly post a vid of how it sounds?

My mistake I thought Aerox had a 4 stroke typhoon. You might be able to get her better Takeoff by working with lighter weights in the variator

Well I just can't stop ordering stuff for this mini rocket. 2 days ago the new lithium WPS battery arrived. I have to say I was skeptical but wow things are AMAZING. Light as a feather almost seems like a empty shell. Cut few pounds of weight high up on the chassis is perk #1. The cranking power is unreal it spins the new polini sport bbk like the spark plug is out. The yuasa at full charge wouldn't even turn it over under choke. Now it spins it at a crazy speed. Took awhile to arrive but well worth it I bought same cheapest sealed batt at Walmart and it was 55 Canadian pesos. This WPS was 89.00 pesos delivered all in. Well well worth it. Ordered another heap of parts and should be arriving after the weekend. Will keep ya'all posted . Cheers and have a great wknd weather is wide open Sun here 30 degrees Celsius. Time to put some hours on this scoot.✌️

Well I'm waiting for a ride to come rescue me. Maybe pushed a lil hard. Wasn't more than 2 to 3 mins at wot got it up to 84km. On slight downhill when got to bottom it felt like nothing on the throttle and sure enuff it just cranks and no start. Don't hear anything weird or feel anything in the kick. Any ideas guys . Was a good day dang it. Sux

Any sounds before it quit ? Did It just Die and Coast ? Is kill switch On ? I have done this spent a hour trying to figure out went wrong . Is the plug fouled ? What color is the plug?
Now we will get to the basics fuel, spark, compression Kick over a few times check plug is it wet . Then check compression with a fat finger . Then check Spark If these are all ok .
We move on to see if cylinder damage
Take off the cylinder head and take a look down the barrel As you turn the fan to see top to bottom We are looking for grooves scratches etc to see if you seized up or lost a wrist pin .
If you post up pics of your plug the barrel it would help

Ya poop I gotta go get it once sun goes down it's to hot ATM. But ya it felt exactly like the piaggio does when it's max out like the clutch was maxed. Didnt hear a thing. Then when I felt no throttle I thought maybe I had broke a belt but once I came to stop it was dead. Let it cool for 20 or so and kicked it etc . Sounds perfectly fine. Maybe the new lithium cooked my c.d.i. I have no idea hoping it's not complete teardown again. But if it is I'm going all out. I want a rock solid unit. Split the case and put best in. But really hoping not to do that just getting our weather window here. I'll shall post once I get her home and do a lil digging. Anyway to check for spark without removing the main swingarm and full teardown?

Also have a nice new bore hole cam I will get vids of the cylinder if I have to teardown. I made sure those new wrist pin clips were seated well tho. That kit didn't include a new bearing tho was kind of disappointed in that.

You can check for spark at the plug. Just place the threaded part in a ground and kick it over.

Yes of course but on this prebug it's virtually impossible to pull the plug without complete disassembly??

With the best intent, you may need to address your approach to the spark plug access I have a vertical and horizontal engined Yamaha scoots and can change the plug on both with just a ratchet and socket???.

Well thank u Geoff I was under the impression u couldn't. Thanks a bunch cause I take a look and the stupid wire just popped off plug. Here's my other dilemma tho. Can you tell me if the little end cap on the spark plug is supposed to be on the plug and the boot slips over. Cause mine the end cap is either stuck in the boot or its that type u run without a end cap. But it seems to fit over very sloppy. I don't wanna try and pry that cap out of boot unless I know forsure. Thank u thank u. So happy she's fine

There are two types. One fits on to the plug with the aluminium bulb at the end. The other pushes on to the thread of the plug. The second type has two wires either side which grip the thread. These do break on occasion. Both should be a tight fit. Is there not a small hatch in the seat bucket you can get access to the plug?
