Thanks for the footwork I originally looked at the Cameo, but daughter wanted Cricut for its software. Fusion360 is cool but I struggle with it quite a bit. I need to get this crap figured out, soon. I actually have a silhouette cameo 4. (well, my wife does). I didn't realize it would cut all kinds of design files (and i also haven't considered trying to use it for anything). Good to know! Gaskets, decals, stripes, rim tape, lettering, templates. You name it! Draw it in Fusion 360 and send it! (if it were only that easy)

Glad I'm following your build! It seemed like an expensive item to make stencils for chalk. I'll just have to keep my greasy hands off the shiny white plastic.

That is really coming along! Cool that you’re able to realize your vision for the bike.

Very nice wish I had the skill set to accomplish projects like that oldgeek I’m sure Oldgeek would tell you his secrets and tricks of the trade, Milly. My secret is I have no real plan Lol! Sadly, I just make it up as I go and spend loads of time thinking about it. For instance, I have thought a lot about how to do the water pump, either mechanical or electric? However there are so many things to factor in that I get mired in thought and nothing gets done. Eventually I move on to something else and return to the water pump at a later date. I am working on the electrical system ATM and I have a question about using a DC CDI. Am I assuming right that you do NOT need a dedicated coil on the stator that powers the DC CDI? I would think the power for the DC CDI instead comes directly from the battery? I may not even be using a DC CDI on this build, but you never know for sure. Depending on which motor ends up in the scooter a DC CDI may be needed. I am also trying to figure out how to float the ground on the stock Kymco stator. It has 5 coils for charging that seem to be wound strangely. One of the five coils clearly has more turns of wire on it than the others. Hopefully someone here can assist me with it. I am not planning to use the stock Kymco stator and rotor on the TP86 motor build, I will have something lighter for that motor. However I will likely use the stock Kymco stator and flywheel on any other motor that ends up in this scoot until I have time to finish the TP86 motor. Man, there is so much left to figure out for this build!

Right, the DC CDI does not use a source coil(it is blank on an eton),just the pulse(pickup) coil to trigger the spark,,Always thought an extra charging coil could be wound in that location for more charging capacity..

Ok thanks! One reason I was contemplating a DC CDI is that an feebay seller told me when using a AC CDI above 12K RPM there is not enough time to charge the capacitors in the AC CDI which results in a very weak spark above 12K. My thoughts are that a DC CDI would not have this issue? Dunno, it probably does not matter. Brent's build does not seem to have any problems above 12K ......

All the racing 2strokes use DC CDI for that reason and lots more tuning features on them too..

Damn. I would count that convo as some wisdom hahaha!
190mech Do you have any links handy to any of those threads I remember seeing where you were doing work on CDIs?
I’ve been more interested in this lately.

Looking for a front brake line about 39" long. The stock Kymco ZX line does not fit, one of the ends is clocked 90° off. What am I supposed to do? Order them until you find one that fits? Lol Does anyone know how long the OEM hose for a Bugeye is? It is expensive but the quality should be good. BWS/Zuma

Call customer support and speak to a live person. It’s tough sometimes, I’ll search google for hours just because but when you need something specific it might be easier.
