Tuning time in my spare time. 70’s by 1’s and 80’s by 1’s plus slow jets.

Captin, the SR50 has spoiled with the rear disk brake, everything else feels soft.

90GTVert may notice I’ve swapped another blue part onto my red scoot. I haven’t added my white accents yet.

1000 mile plug. It’s crusty but sparky.

Is that the street race kit? You will love it. It's a great kit. I really liked mine, till it destroyed my crank! 😂 Did you order some jets to match the new carb? And I still do love it. Might upgrade the the full on stage6 hot rod cylinder next year.

Swapped out the 77 main jet today and swapped in a 75. Temps still running around 160°F at cruise while ambient temp is close to 80°F. I did swap in a slightly used plug that had 150 miles on it and it got rid of the high rpm mild miss. New plug coming this week. It’s dinner time and then I may go sneak a ride in between dinner and bed. Gotta go see what the current scoot tag is.

well, something has let go....... it’s been rattling but I thought it was the inner exhaust screen in the Giannelli.

You’ll have to measure your rod end but 12x15x17 is what I have been using. There are slight variations to the OD dimension. You’ll also want to give the cases and pipe a good flush to make sure you don’t have any little bits left behind before any rebuild.

Check the inside of the conrod too. I have had a pin bearing failure cause damage there. It's probably fine, but check it out before you make any plans. Definitely heed Ryan's advice and do what you can to get the pipe and cases cleaned out. I had one failure, thought I cleaned everything out well enough, and then damaged a new setup when apparently there was a needle roller still in there somewhere.

Captain I might be pulling the trigger on a Keeway fact 50 I see that you upgraded cylinder and pipe and 19 mm dellorto . I Have extra parts around from my various zuma ,vino, eton builds .
Looks like from your thread I will need to order a throttle cable for the delloro carb . Were you able to use the stock throttle tube ? I will have to order a 12mm cylinder kit Athena Race or Athena Sport possibly or a Malossi Cast . I have various pipes stage 6 street Malossi Wild Lion ,Yasuni R Tecnigas silent pro for me to bolt Up .
The Straight groove Torque driver ,Clutch and Variator looks like I will have to source those .
Could you turn the back wheel and give me a count of how many times the clutch bell turns ? If we are under 12 I probably stick with stock gears if over 12 I will have to get some gears .
You had a impressive build hitting just under 60 mph . It has made me look harder at this platform . 12 inch stock wheels 12 mm crank and under 200 pounds is a good starting point

This evening is rebuild time. Going for cylinder number 4 in 1500 miles. Damn that sounds horrible. I’m a hack.
