Moved it, tried it, bike runs best in in 2nd clip from top. Could my WOT issue be icing of the carb?

Ok, I played needle swapping and clip up/down to no avail. I tried regapping the spark plug. Under-gapping. .016” Seems to have done the trick. Didn’t miss like crazy at high rpm tonight. Also got camera mounted and gps mounted.

Hey there, I own a similar scoot and just started a build thread here. Been scouring this forum extensively for stage 6 street race threads and notice you had a similar setup. From what I understand you're not running this now but wondering where you landed with the jetting in yours? I'm currently at a 36 pilot, 82 main and W6 needle in the 2nd clip from the top and she's FINALLY running the best she has but may have a rich bog around 1/3 throttle getting back into the gas after being off it. I believe mine ran best with a 78 main in my 19mm carb. The 21mm carb I have never been able to get the WOT to feel good. I’ve been tempted to drop back to the 19mm carb.

Another issue could be your Torque Driver, when re throttling if it won’t shift to a lower ratio it won’t get into that power band. I have a TD with multiple grooves and it made a lot of difference in driving performance.

So this winter while I have my big bike,I’m gonna pressure test my engine and try n sort out some problems. Oh and also finish a bathroom project and clean my yard…….

This is why you need at least two bikes Rob. So you can ride one, and work on the other. I have no advice on the bathroom, or yard. 😉
