I got enough parts to piece it together to see how things would look. The front fender if I can even get it to work is going to take alot of persuasion... and fiberglass. The back might sit higher once aired up and front lower after some spring swapping. I’m going to weld and blend the seat frame to the rear section but this is about what it should look like. I could shorten the wheel base if I don’t use the air box or get a different intake tube and relocate it. Don’t really want to ditch it since it runs so well. Oh yeah also going with Aerox wheels. I’m open to color ideas.

That thing is so friggin badass.
I definitely think you should keep the longer wheel base. The more stretched these things are, the faster they go...or look at least. The Aerox wheels are going to look great.
As far as color...what color is the rest of the bike going to be?

a few years ago, on local CL, someone posted a Ruckus knock off that came with a Chinarelli. i wanted to buy it but someone scooped it up before me.
by the way, that front brake rotor is sick.
awesome work!

That is looking super sweet! I’ll second the longer wheelbase notion. Color-wise, if you want to stay darker without being bored by black, the Vespa 946 is sharp as hell -

Sure I could paint it and have another queen but I’ve got the Zuma for that. I’ve seen some sticker bombed which I actually like but was thinking of the idea of letting the general population decorate it. Sharpie markers and a sign what could go wrong. Plenty of people at the rally to take care of that for me. The wheels, engine and suspension will all be nice and clean. I like the stretched and slammed look but I’ve got a pipe hanging under it and like to corner at decent speeds so I’ve got to have some clearance.

There's also chalk board paint if you want an ever-changing scoot.

I say go for it. That way, this would be something that’s more just pure fun and you’re not as terrified if it gets kicked around a little and develops some “character”. It’ll obviously still run well. Generally speaking, the more careless we are, the more fun we have. Haha I was thinking of doing something with my stock exhaust on my 125. I think I’m going to mod it for better flow and layer a bunch of Yasuni stickers on the plastic guard for that same look. If you do this, I’ll come to the small bore rally and make my mark. I have a special stencil I’ve been saving for something just like this.

What about fabbing up a high pipe?? The C16 is on it currently. It has clearance as long as it’s not slammed like the other Ruck/Metros. I still have the C21 template I could work up if time is on my side. I at least need one ready to go in little over 6 weeks for the OCMD Cruise. The Zuma is also torn apart..

You should see my garage, that’s what worries me.. Really it’s the little parts I’ll forget and need to order and packages seem to get stuck standby at my local USPS for 5-10 days beyond the delivery date. Needless to say been paying for FedEx and UPS since I’ve been having better luck with them.

I’ve been picking away here and there to get the engine mounted and it’s in. I found some C channel that looked like it’ll do the job for a mount just fine. Not my best work but it’ll do. Took some spring length out and added some spacers to take up free length. Sits little better now. Chopped up the seat frame and started to get that into place. I’ve got a little more cleanup and welding on the rear frame then I can call it almost good. I’m having a hell of a time finding a horizontal radiator, something that’s longer then tall. And the stupid cap at the top. At this point in half tempted to just mount the original one from the Zuma sideways. The few that I did find are from larger CC bikes so I’m sure the hose connections are too big. I think I should have everything I need to get it all finished up, or at least in transit. Picked up some domino clone controls off of Amazon and they are pretty nice. Looks and feel the same as the others I have for 1/4 the cost wiring is even the same.

Looks awesome so far, definitely taking notes on your build so I can eventually do a swap into my ruckus. I know Kenho21 will want to help with that build.
