Was trying to find another Prebug Zuma I have enough extra parts to mod at least a sport level version . The Prices are Crazy by me they sell more for anything worth building for more then they sold brand new for . I started looking at other minnareli brands Keeways ,CPI I kept coming in second or third . I then came across this Black Beauty 2019 Genuine Roughhouse with 423 miles. The guy had bought it got a bad back injury and it just sat in his garage for the last year.

Welcome to the Genuine club! They’re nice scoots. I like the style more then the Zumas, but they’re new and 2 strokes.

Well I took it for a test drive Yesterday night. I went to pick it up this morning with cash it was 42 miles from my home No way I was letting this one get away .
I road her all the way home on the county roads with my wife following since this thing is stock and she runs 41-43 without wind helping .
I forget how stock 50cc just dont have that hill climbing and passing power my modded scoots have .
My first Impression when I road one of these a couple years back is that you sit up way high compared to the Zumas. I was pretty sure I would want to lower it . The zuma seat is 1 inch lower but you lean forward slightly . On the Rough house your more upright .
After riding it straight for more than an hour on the back roads . I found the suspension held the bumps a notch better than the zuma . Alot of Gravel pot holes and railroad tracks to challenge me. The 12 inch wheels and tires are a nice upgrade over the zumas. The forward foot pegs really let me stretch my legs out and I felt very comfortable on this long run
The Zuma is quicker cornering .
So I would say as of now I might leave the suspension stock keep the stock seat it is more comfortable then the Zumas

When my wife pulled up next to me . I told her if I would have took the Zuma and this on the same distance I would have not bought the Zuma . The Zuma fits more of that Race Toy spot in my collection because they are so easy to find high performance parts . All the controls are like I am riding the Zuma. I do like the look of the roughhouse it has that prebug headlight look . The dual headlight mod really light up the road and is a must do for the Zuma if you ride at night .

After doing alot of reading on modern buddy and on here .
I most likely and targetting a Sport Level Build.
A Cast Iron Malossi 70cc paired with one of my 3 available Street pipes Tecnigas Silent pro ,Malossi Wild Lion ,Stage 6 Street .( My Son Wants me to put the Yasuni R on there ) Upjetting stock carb and shimming it . Stiffer clutch springs and lighter slider weights Trail Tech Tempature Gauge Protecting my Hard work
Next steps The stock variator seems better shifting and top speed than I remember the stock yamaha one being. The NCY Package or tried and True Malossi Multi Var. I feel a shift at take off so there might be a dual stage torque driver I either tune around or replace
Gears going from a 13.1 ratio to a 11 or 12 to 1 ratio hould add to my speed and keep my rpms down in the low 9's
Carb Dellorto has always worked well for me and I have a 17.5 and a 19 mm on the shelf Just have to get an intake so these ones will work .
The way Parts availability is I no longer can wait for Christmas and Boxing Day Specials get it while they got it.

I went through the trials and tribulations of Genuine exhaust flanges many months ago now. If you want to avoid that (and I do suggest avoiding it) There are like two pipes that are made specifically for the Genuine exhaust flange and one of them is the bad Prima pipe. There is a Yasuni Z(?) that is made specifically for Genuine. I would use that one.

As Far as exhaust Flange I have a buddy that owns a metal fab place if needed. I will only use the Stock cylinder for a little while. I kinda figured since I have 4 pipes to choose from ,If I would find which works with the least or no fab work for the next guy. According to this page The PGO Max Naked (Genuine RoughHouse) www.twostroke.se/moped/avgassystem/Alot of pipes are available It just doesnt say how much fab work it takes The stage 6 street is the same pipe as TKR Turbo and is a a 2 part head pipe exhaust so I have alot more ways to adjust it at the head of the pipe and at the mounting brackets . The Tecnigas silent Pro has very little adjustment at the mounting brackets The Wildlion has adjustable mounting brackets . I have hippo008's template for the Yasuni R to work off for that pipe .

That template isnt totally correct. There are some adjustments that need to be made with a grinder to get it just right. Heres what ill do. I like to see PGO tuning wherever it happens and I would like to help out. Ill make up a new bracket in CAD this evening and post it in my build thread as well as yours. Given the bracket I made is for a Yasuni R so your mileage may vary, but Ill do my best!

hippo that would be great . It would be great if there were a few tepmplat to follow for this platform.
My son is absolutely drooling over this Roughouse . He so wants a Yasuni R on it He just love that throaty sound screaming down the road He loves the aggressive look he alraedy told he he wants this one or the next one he ahs been taking picture and sending it to all his friends .
He cant legally ride for another 3 years on the road so I have time to find him his own .

It will mate up fine to the exhaust flange but the pipe mount wont match up to the small case half. Its not just a little ways off, its way off, like a few cm for each mounting hole. If youre down to clown and get fabricating then go for it, just know its not a bolt on solution.

hippo I have been referencing your post and I quoted it below
"The PGO motor in the Genuine Roughhouse is a weird bastard child of a motor. Be warned about online parts lists for these motors. Ive used parts that are listed as compatible but absolutely did not work. Ive learned the hard way (See, money and time) what fits on these things. Heres a list for you.
Cylinder: Any minarelli cylinder will mate up to the PGO motor without serious modification.
Crankshaft: Only PGO specific cranks work in this motor. There are not many aftermarket cranks made for the PGO motors. Jasil and Stage6 are the only ones I know of. No stroker cranks. It is however possible to use a Yamaha crankshaft in these motors IF you use bearings and seals to accommodate the different output shaft sizes. NTN sells the bearings for this job.
Reeds: Only PGO reed cages will work. However any Yamaha Zuma reed petals will fit onto the PGO cage.
Carburetor: Only PGO specific carbs work unless you use a Malossi PGO to boot adapter. Then any booted carb will work. Variator: Only specific PGO parts work reliably here. SOME 139QMB (for what reason I dont know) will fit.
Drive Face: Dio and PGO drive faces work. NCY sells the only one I have tested and know works.
Belt: PGO Belt only. Malossi and Dayco make performance Kevlar belts.
Rear pully: PGO OEM only. Supposedly Malossi makes an aftermarket one but I havent seen it.
Secondary Slider: NCY & Malossi both make quality secondary sliders. A worthwhile pickup.
Contra Springs: 139QMB contra springs work. So will some Piaggio and GY6 stuff.
Clutch: Any 107mm clutch will work. I use a Polini 4Race clutch. 139QMB clutches also fit.
Clutch Bell: PGO and Honda bells work. I use a 107mm NCY Dio bell. Works a treat."
I am hoping to build off your list for the next guy
