the malossi gave me better top end because of its larger diameter.
The stock bando belt works best with the ncy or stock variator ,with a malossi or polini variator a larger belt can basically build ,a on the cheap overrrange
you will need a shim kit to maximize travel. I did run a couple larger belts Bando makes a 758x17.5X28 belt dayco part # vc31911 756x18 belt and malossi part # 6116424 765x18.5x30 belt These are as big a belt you can run with the malossi or polini variators the bando rolls out to 758 ,malossi 750 and dayco 745 stock to 738 mm the widths combined make the malossi and bando basically a tie for travel front and back the dayco is the next biggest and then the stock belt .
what cdi did you use ? please post part number so the next guy can rip it up

Thank you for the belt options!
The CDI I used is the Naraku 137-38
One more question, my slide is sticking at WOT on my dellorto 17.5, I think the slide might be coming up to far and getting stuck.. any ideas on what I could to make the slide not come up so far? did you run into this with your carb?

the throttle cable probably needs some slack let out by the fine tuning adjustment .

I have a couple ofquestions on the Dellorto carburetor, what do with the hose hook up where the throttle slide is and the other pieces you purchased from Treatland for the throttle cable. The stock carburetor has a 90 bend coming off the cap. I interest in installing this carburetor on my roughhouse. Thanks

The stock carburetor has a 90 bend coming off the cap. I interest in installing this carburetor on my roughhouse. Thanks That hose from the carb vent is long you can just trim it . I removed mine since none of my other dellorto carbs run hoses off the vents The biggest trick is geeting the throttle cable out of the top of the current carb . I had extra slack on the throttle cable I could not adjust out up by the throttle tube So To adjust the throttle slack tighter I swapped on this top www.treatland.tv/dellorto-top-for-PHVA-carburetors-p/dellorto-phva-top-1368300.htmused one of these adaptors screwed in the top www.treatland.tv/straight-cable-guide-p/dellorto-guide-0110400.htm

There is a port you can hook up a hose to right on the carburetor housing goes right into the throttle slide bore about midway. I have no idea what it’s purpose is or what to do with it. Do I cap it or connect it somewhere or just leave it alone. Help would greatly be appreciated

snow you can leave that port uncapped its just a vent. the dellorto phbg has 2 of these vents coming off the throttle slide . If you look at other dellorto carbs they either have 1 or 2 of them . To make sure I tested it with scooter running by plugging it with my finger the rpms did not rise or fall
