Malossi Wild Lion PGO and Genuine Roughhouse Bracket is fixed So a little dremel work on the upper exhaust bracket hole and extending the slot on the exhaust flange so it rotates the the bottom bracket hole lined up. Still have plenty of tire clearance

Mounted up and Ran down the Road couple 5-6 miles with each . Yasuni R , Malossi Wild Lion, Stage 6 Street and Scooter Works Sport Exhaust
I kept the same Trans Settings and 6 gram Sliders Stock contra Light Clutch springs with Stock Carb 85 main and 35 pilot The Stock Cylinders Port Timings (Exhaust port is over 1/2 closed) really keep the pipes from revving out .
Yasuni R Best Power and Top Speed 47 mph at 8100 Rpms Temps pushed past 330 degrees . Clutch Springs need to go up a notch stiffer so it engages above 6000 rpms Variator weights could go down a half gram or so it revs out higher . The Stock Carb mid throttle is rich enough the main is close or could go up one jet.
Malossi Wild Lion and Stage 6 Street Pipe Both revved out to 7700-7800 rpms 43-44 mph 300-310 degrees Better Power and Top End than the scooter works exhaust .
Scooter works exhaust has better take off than stock similar top end .
Street Exhausts I would buy the Malossi Wild Lion over the Scooter Works Sports Exhaust. They are about the same price . The Lion required just a little dremel work and you can keep the fender. The Stage 6 requires a bracket to be made . Both the Lion and Stage 6 Street have Similar Power Bands .
If I wanted a Expansion pipe You have to delete the fender or have a custom bracket made The Yasuni R with the Yasuni Z Bracket Kit bolts right up Or The Yasuni Z for PGO Genuine RoughHouse bolts right up.
Both are more powerful than the street pipes and are Loud and Proud

Will you test them all again when the 70 kit is installed ?

Will you test them all again when the 70 kit is installed ? It will be spring before I have the 70cc Swapped on and then I will look at doing a run down of the pipes. With the extra power and rpms from the 70 cc It should be easier to see the top end and take off of the different pipes .

Excuse my sniffles in the video. I have seasonal allergies and work outdoors. Do you still want me to finish the Yasuni bracket in CAD? So for belts the dayco 747 x 17 is too small . the Bando 758.17.5 x 28 from parts for scooters is just about perfect for a malossi front pulley and stock/ncy rear pulley. With the malossi at 97 mm and rear pulley at 118 mm Which for no case grinding is basically as close to a overrange as you can get . Better take off by using the whole back pulley and better top end over the stock variator On the Zuma to get a budget overrange we used a Malossi or Polini Variator paired with a 122mm torque driver stock was 115 mm. and up sized the belts to the Yamaha BWS 100 size belts . By Hippos experience it looks like The BWS 100 belts or the Piaggio Long belts in the 758 range as outer edge are what to shoot for . If keeping the stock variator or ncy aftermarket variator . The stock bando belt 738x18x30 gives the best travel on the variator and is undersized for the rear pulley ..

budget overrange for the roughouse test parts ordered . ordered a polini 95mm pulley and a dayco part # vc31911 756x18 belt and malossi part # 6116424 765x18.5x30 belt both are piaggio long belts . I have a honda ruckus variator model 241.626 to test along side the pgo genuine polini variator 241.490 according to polini's catalogue the parts are compatible the pgo /genuine comes with a extra shim . catalogue.polini.com/dep/polini_ric_variatori.pdf

Is that a 16mm spline like most of the Chinese stuff. Or a 13 on the roughhouse like the Yamaha zino? Just curious as to what options you might have.

The crank is 14mm spline crank .
So this is where the biggest adjustments come for building up this scoot the transmission is a hybrid honda dio trans mated to a minarelli cylinder .
Carb intake is a bolt on flange on this scoot instead of a spigot that is easier to adjust for with intake adaptor .
There are small advantages with nuts and bolts they use as few size differrence bolts as possible throughout the xcoot all the trans mission case bolts are same size the variator nut and washer are interchangeable with the back pulleys washer and nut .

The more you get into it. The more odd ball it is. I like it. Seems they have used lots of different ideas from different manufacturers. I'm sure this thread will help lots of people in the future.

Budget Overrange Setup Style Pro Variator Face 96 mm (this has better ramp angles than stock ) Polini variator 95 mm up front Stock 118 mm pulley out back Had to shim Stock Variator 1.2-1.5 mm choice of belts Style Pro Variator 2-2.2mm shims Bando 758X17.5x28 rolls out to 758 mm Dayco 756X18X30 rolls out to 745mm Malossi 765x18.5x30 rolls out to 750 mm The Bando belt had 2mm left on back pulley and front pulley The Malossi and Dayco belts both are Kevlar had 4mm-5mm on back pulley I took 3 days to test all of the belts and shimming . The Polini drive boss is 1 mm shorter than stock so you have to shim so you get rock bottom belt travel and to allow for the different width belts . I shimmed both behind variator next to starter and behind variator fan to test . Alot of work to pick up 1-2 mile per hour . If I had this paired to a higher power set up I would probably notice more . After testing this against the NCY variator . Best take off NCY with stock belt. Then Polini with Bando 758 belt Best Top end Polini with any of the belts I did not spend a ton of time fine tuning every belt with Variator weights . Just shimming for belt travel. The Polini shifts different than the NCY so I could pick up some performance by adjusting weights . Hippo is running the Malossi Variator with the 758x17.5x28 Bando belt and likes it better than stock also witth his higher power setup

One eye opening thing that I noticed . While tuning with all these different belts over 3 days . Same Jetting Same day hour apart couple different times If I run too heavy weights and peak rpms are below 7500 my temps break 300 degrees . If I run weights that let me peak closer to 8000 rpms my temps settle in 20 degrees less .
The stock bore and Malossi wild lion pipe makes best power when I set weights that peak rpms 7700-8300 Mid 8000s' is just wasted rpms with no extra speed . Below 7400 is just sluggish.
