I use trail tto surface mount with a 14mm spark plug ring . Battery last for 5 years plus . I also bought the 48 " extension so I could mount it up by the handle bar. I bought the directly from trail tech and amazon
I have tried to use the cheaper knockoff ones on Amazon but the batteries run out fast .

Cool I’ll look into it I’m trying not to spend to much at on time but a temp gauge sounds like a good thing to have.

That’s the same place I bought my Molossi kit, don’t waste your time with the cheap gauges as I found out the hard way. I bought the trail tech gauges for both of my scooters. They work flawlessly . The only thing I still have not found ideal location to mount to the roughhouse. I just have them taped to the floorboard.

brent has a pretty good install process here . It covers all the main steps and the finer points like chamfering ,torque wrenches, sealants ,lube while assembling . Just go slow take alot of pictures so you can retrace your steps on install . Feel free to post up your pictures to help out the next guy with his install . You will find also having a side stand can help give a better angle installing the piston clips and cylinder head . 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/556

You've found the joy of fitting stiffer clutch springs then! A spring puller really helps.
