I ended up taking apart the clutch putting in the springs and used an exhaust pipe expander to spread it and put back on the clutch face I guess you call it.

It works just took some trial and error wondering if I may of got the wrong springs.

Why do you think they are wrong? When fitted you should have slight tension in them.

Was just wondering since they were such a bear to put in drum brake springs don’t have nothing on these little guys.

What color did you install?
The polini yellows were alot tougher than the greens for me .

You have to remember they are counteracting the weight of the clutch shoes spinning at thousands of revolutions a minute.
The brake shoe springs only have to return the pads to closed.
