Gear box bearings are so much easier with the proper tool. 👍 Yes, I ended up buying a 6000kg press only a bench top one but made doing all my mains and gear.box so easy, and add a little heat they just about fall in lol

Couple of pictures of fitting the gearbox cover with the new input bearing. The input shaft fitted into the gearbox cover. Its a common misconception on the piaggio motors that you have to remove the rear wheel and remove the gearbox as a whole. But as can be seen here that isnt the case, you can simply take the gear box cover off and leave the secondary gears in place. And finally a picture of the completed Runner basking in the sun on the street.... it looks like a lovely sunny day, but this morning there was a hard frost on the ground and the temperature in the picture is hovering around 0 degrees centigrade.
